NOTE: The game is not my development. I worked on the localization of the game. I specialize in game localization and I am introducing this game on behalf of the game developer with his permission since I really liked the game! The developer’s name: Mr. Akira Takaba (The site is in Japanese.)

“TAKUMA, YOU ARE MINE”

A boy wakes up in the dark, cold cell after seeing the death of his family.
What is this place, why is he here?
While he tries to find the way out of this place, he experiences pieces of memories, flashbacks to solve the mystery of his abduction as well as someone else past...

Taking a role of a boy Takuma and explore this eerie place, find missing pieces of memories to solve and escape while running away from insane creatures that lurks about the place...

<Game Play>
1-2 hours depending on the ending.
There is no combat in the game.

<Ending>
3 Bad endings
1 Common ending
1 True ending

*The game contains some grotesque and violence depictions and the story might be offensive to some people. Age 15 and up is recommended.

(RTP for RPG Maker VX Ace is needed to play the game)

Thank you so much!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just a little hint if you would like to enjoy the game fully.(and getting the good endings).

1. Shin; This dog holds crucial memories of someone's past. Find him at 3 separate places. (It shouldn't be hard to locate him.)
2. A weird guy; He just wants to know where the "xxx" is. Help him by listening and talking to him until he asks you something.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you would like to do a narration on this game and put it up on Youtube, please feel free to do so!
I've already got permission from its developer. And thank you in advance!

There are misspellings in the game, I know it will affect the game play especially if the game is story driven. I apologize in advance. If you find some grammatical error, I would be very grateful if you could point them to me, as I might fix them and update the file.

The game has been accpeted!

I am so glad that the game is finally accepted and not rejected.

The game is all set to play and thanks to the great help from Sharon and papasan96 with thier wonderful job on the proofreading. (I need to work on articles more...)

I really love this developer's game and as a matter of a fact, I have another game of him that I'm planning to do when I get a chance.

I hope you like his game and any comments you can give me is really appreciate it! Thank you so much. :)

Hi! :D I just played this today and I wanted to say it was amazing! I love the story behind this game. It had a deep meaning to me. (Well that is if you get the true ending.) It was never boring to me like I had chills in many parts because I was so scared and I just wanted to play some more. This is was a really awesome RPG horror game and I recommend people who love RPG horror games to play this one. I absolutely loved all the characters! Shin was a good dog :) I got all the endings and I truly loved the true ending. It was sad but it was beautiful as well. I also have a question about the true ending. (**DO NOT READ IF YOU DID NOT GET THE TRUE ENDING**) In the secret scene after the credits, the weird man who found the red book a.k.a "Satan's Book", can you explain to me (if you know the reason) that scene and why he wanted the book? Who was he? Was he the "poor" Keiichi that was mentioned?? Is he going to be the next red-eyed demon or something? I really didn't get that part! >__< but thank you soooo much again for uploading this amazing game :))
rashivinglykiko, Thank you so much for playing the game but most of all, thank you so much for such a nice comment! :D

I couldn't get the true ending so I had to cheat haha (and that doll scared me and couldn't go on myself too... lol)

Me too. It's sad but I really loved the story behind it too. I agree with you, you can't really appreciate the game unless you get the true ending. To me, I think the developer did great job having the real story in such a short game.

Here goes the spoiler...

This game is one part of the series and the stories are all based upon a person who made a contract with the Satan.

In Desperate Love Feast, Chihiro is the one who used the red Satan book (for an exchange with his red eye, hence the bandage)

The strange guy is "Keiichi Kurosawa" (Kurosawa's wife, I think is the person who wrote the "Analysis of the crime" for Chihiro. But this I'm not 100% certain)

His family passed away for some reason and with that book he wishes to restore them or meet them again.

Yup, he will be in the next series again, but the main character is uh... someone else! Keiichi is going to be there to help. Well, Chihiro is dead, but you will remember 3 characters include Keiichi from this game. :)

I hope this clears a thing a bit!
Again, thank you so much for nice comment!!

I hope to work on the next series soon :)

You know, if you want to post potential spoilers, writing stuff in a hide tag, like thus...

[hide]
There is this thing called a hide tag!
[/hide]

...could be useful!
>rashivinglykiko, well, the developer made Desperate Love Feast after the next sequel. But the time wise, this is the first story :) (also, game is shorter than the next one so I figure it might be good idea to start from this.)

I hope to be able to work on the next one soon~ (I hope :D )

This is what I wanted!
thank you so much for letting me know :)
Hello Nemesis,

I love the work you did translating this game! You helped bring an incredible game with a gripping and truly meaningful story to people who couldn't have played it otherwise because of the original language it was in. I really want to thank you for that because I'm very grateful. I actually record let's plays for my channel on YouTube, Sinuyan, and I love playing RPGMaker games with amazing stories. I really get into it and sort of voice act for the characters as I record. :D

When I reached the end of the game, I found myself really wanting more because of how great it was, and I'm sure my fanbase will feel the same. I saw you mentioned that there is a sequel that is already out. I was wondering, is this sequel only in Japanese, and if that's the case are you planning to translate it? If so I will definitely be keeping my eye out for it, and if you need any help I'd be happy to provide it in any way possible. Also are there any other games out by the same developer that are in English? The developer must have quite a bit of talent to have made such a great game, and I'm sure my viewers and I would love to check out other games by them.

I hope to hear back from you, and if you're interested I'd love to hear what you think of my playthrough of the game, I've already started uploading the parts to my channel.

Many Thanks Again!

Sinuyanm, thank you so much for the nice comments! I am so glad you liked the game but most of all, it's really nice to know that people do appreciate this game and its story like I do. :) I too also believe this developer is talented and deserves much more recognition!

Yup, there are sequel to this game/story. He has one out at that moment which happened to be his first creation. (That game came out first and this Desperate love feast afterwards. It was amazing to find out that was his very first creation!)

This is the only game by this developer that's been localized in English I'm afraid. But I'm planning to do the next one!! Unfortunately, I'm rather busy now and haven't been able to work on the game yet. Since you and other people really enjoyed the game, I think I might start working on it pretty soon :D

I sure did watched your play-through of the game, it was really nice!! You played the game with open minded attitudes towards the game and lots of enthusiasm. I think many people felt it and really enjoy watching it as if they are actually playing the game. You say you've already played it through? Awwww, I can't wait to see the lest of the play-through up on Youtube!

P.S. Thank you so much for the offer! The thing is, I would rather like you to do another play-through when it's out so I would like to keep it rather as a secret! haha.. (it was definitely "decorates the dish", not "decolates"...)

Thank you again for nice comments!

I hope you'll play this game too. :) It's rather short but it's really worth it to get the true ending if you are to play it.

You are always leaving some good advices to especially new comers! Thanks!
Hello, I've been trying to play this game for a while now, but sadly every time I download the file and unpackage the .exe, it seems to be missing its graphics folder?
The site says that the file should be about 69mbs big, but the file I receive when I download it is only about 66.
I don't think I'm doing anything incorrectly when I'm downloading and opening it up, and I don't see anyone else having the same problem with the little bit of researching I was able to do about it.

Here's a screencap I took with the missing graphics folder http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm248/carramell/missingfolder_zps7929f706.png
And this is the error message I receive when I try to play the game http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm248/carramell/missingfile_zpsedf27561.png
Finally, just to test it out, I created the graphics folder myself, bypassing that error message, only to be met with this one http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm248/carramell/missingcache_zps606fafa2.png

I really hate to be a bother, and I understand if you're busy, but I would really love to be able to play this game~
Please let me know if there's something I might be missing! Thank you so much for your work~

EDIT: *smacks head repeatedly* God I am the dumbest
Sorry about that, aha, I thought I had downloaded the RTP! I double checked and got it sorted out, so everything's good~ Sorry to waste anyone's time with my dumb problem, haha~

Hi baskitty, hahaha, no problem and you didn't bother me at all!
I'm glad it's fixed and ready to play the game :)

I could have included the RTP with the game but it would be really heavey. If anyone are to have same the problem, they can certainly refer to your post, so, thank you so much!

I hope you'll enjoy the game. (don't forget to get the true-ending!)
i cant play without some kind of software? where can i find that anyway?

You don't need another software to play the game. You just need to have the RTP installed on your PC. (a system for the games that's are made with RGP maker; run time package)

If you've already played bunch of other games that are made with RPG Maker, then you might have that installed already and no need to do anything.

Just in case, link below is for RPG Maker VX Ace.

http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/additional/run-time-packages

I could've included it but the game file would become really huge...!
I finished playing the game and I loved it! It wasn't too hard and that's why I liked it. It's really annoying when I want to play a game and find out that it's too hard to pass a certain scene because you have no ideea what to do or it's almost impossible without help ( in Desperate Love Feast everything was perfect). There were some creepy scenes that scared me :D and sad moments that almost made me cry. There were also some questions in my head because I didn't understand a few things.
The whole thing that happened was it a dream or real? Did Chihiro have the power to create such a world? Why was Chihiro born like that/ ( his eye)? Was he a demon? and stuff like that. I had so many questions after I finished the game.
I have to say that everything seemed so realistic. I honestly loved exploring and the fact that everytime I choose to see a certain object the protagonist had something to say about it.
Wonderful game. I had fun playing it. Thanks for finding and sharing it with us.
Can anyone recommend me games like this one? Not to hard to beat, please> :)

BlackLilith, thank you so much for the nice comment and I'm glad that you liked the game!
I think I'm like you, I like the game that's not too hard or else, I will lose interest. haha.

I agree with you, this game was just perfect, even though, I did get stuck at finding the true ending... But I really love the story too.

Have you tried "Happy Birthday" http://rpgmaker.net/games/4839/
or "Desert Nightmare (English Translation)" http://rpgmaker.net/games/917/ ?

These games are like Desperate love feast, very straight forward and it's really good and fun. You might like them. :)

Spoiler below...

I think it was all real, except it happened in the world that was created by Satan. Do you remember the room with Satanic book? Chihiro sold his eye to the Satan to have Takuma there. (something like that)
Chihiro was born with such. It seems like it's normal in real life and people do have different eye colors. But Chihiro's parents believed and made him believe he was a demon.

I hope this will clear a bit? If you have other questions, please let me know ;)

Again, thank you so much for leaving a nice comment! I'm (trying to...) working on the next series, hopefully, you will like that too!
