Entry for the 2013 All Hallows' Event...
THIS GAME IS A NARRATIVE!!! So please don't expect too much game play! There is game play on the other hand... just very little.
-Introduction-
This is the story of a girl named Sam. After the horrific sights she has seen, she must now tell the world what happened inside that house. As Sam recalls her past, frightening images pop into her mind. Sam was only 9-years-old when all of this happened. She now tells her story at the age of fifteen. Inside that house the game of Bloody Mary was played. Her and three other girls peered into the mirror after the chant was told. Soon after, her world enters hell and all hope was lost.

+ Dark ambiance
+ Flashlight to see
+ Hiding places
-Other Notes-
I hope my game does well in the contest and I also hope that you will enjoy my game. I will have worked hard on it and hope that you will support my work as you have in the past. Thank you for looking at the game and it will be downloadable soon!

Because the game is in progress I will be giving updates here on most days, I hope. Also I hope that you will enjoy the game when it is out. I always tell myself "if the game scares me and I'm the one making it, then It'll sure scare my players!"

+ Created a very good feeling of fear in the game so the player must hide to live.

Very cool, however the story was kinda predictable with how it was finished. I was excepting you'd suprise me somehow with a twist.
The atomsphere is great and the gameplay is too easy. Maybe in future releases you'd make it more long and challenging :D
Other wise it was nice. I wish you give more depth to the characters but the story been told by Sam POV was good. I really felt sad for her and the way people treated her. I wish if you could explore more into the characters alittle bit :]

Very short game about the urban legend of Bloody Mary.
The story of the game is simple and basic. The narrative was not as heavy as the author implied, but rather a copy-homage where the only survivor of a massacre tells a policeman what happened. Personally, I don't like this kind of stories, as you know how it all ends (who lives and who dies) as soon as you start. In addition, after 5 minutes of gameplay we already know that everything revolves around a character from an urban legend. So the game becomes a survival slasher.
What I mean by this is that it has no surprise factor, it's not scary, and all the resources it uses have already been seen before. I don't mean by this that it's a bad game, just that it's not bad to pass the time.
