Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Check out Blackmoon Prophecy across the internet for lots of progress updates and screenshots not shown on RMN (in order to prevent spamming the front page/everyone's notices).

Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
That's a bit of an odd minigame! I'm trying not to think of minigames at the moment since there are already a good number of them in the game/planned to be added. I have the arena to work on at some point this week, too.
I won't blame you if this kind of minigame won't appear; after all it's just a suggestion. Hope to see some updates at one time or another. ;)
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
New blog/site thing: http://blackmoonprophecy.wordpress.com/

I'll try to keep a lot of "useful" information there, such as info on equipment, items, and the besitary itself as well.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Awesome News: I have secured a nice waterfront apartment that I can move into in August.

The Downside: This will most likely delay the next download a bit on account of moving, having to transfer internet, etc. I'll see what I can get done this month (possibly everything I have in mind, we'll see) but, if I can't complete everything by the end of July, I'll have something ready later in August when I'm all settled in.

This is going to be a really nice view from the balcony.
Hi, I just finished the first FFBMP last week,it was fun! This one seems a bit more fun,and the graphics look nifty! I know it's just a demo, though.

I only have one tiny suggestion. Since you made logs for like, bonus rewards for doing specific missions (like with the whole Biggs and Wedge mission with the cards missing), why not have a main-story plot reminder? As in,where to go next in the game?

EDIT: Also, I want to say that I found a glitch during the battle with Ifrit. I ended up killing Ifrit and not his fire shield and the shield remained so I just stayed stuck there, had to reset.

PS, I like all the FF7 and 8 songs so far,it's a smart choice because they blend in well with each other. Anyway, good day!
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
You killed Ifrit while the shield was up? Yikes, how much damage were you dealing? The fire shield should be healing Ifrit constantly when it's active. I'll give it a peek for sure, glad you found that!
I am sure I also killed him with the shield up and it did not freeze or get stuck for me. I killed him with limit breaks and thought it does not matter if I kill him with the shield up or down.
I checked it out last night. Turns out I wasn't fully paying attention and thought that there was a way to push the coral up. The chest contains an elixir, so it's nothing missable.
How did you do it I bought RPG Maker XP and RPG Maker XP Ace in the Steam Summer Sale and was wondering if it would be ok to edit the demo on my Laptop and put more land so I can reach it thanks.

I was dealing close to a 100 or a 100 something, sometimes a little more because of the old mage.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Okay, I'll go back and tinker with the battle a bit so that the shield dies with him.

Vanille, by all means edit the map if you want to be able to reach the elixir in the demo.
I'm currently playing the demo and it's fantastic so far. There is one thing that bugs me a little bit: In battle after I take my turn, there is a pause before the ATB bars start filling again and I feel like I get attacked more than I should.
i think i actually like the fft style characters in the first demo than the character design oin ur second demo
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.

Eh, they did their job as placeholders. I wanted custom material all along and custom portraits were always on the list of things I wanted after a soundtrack of largely custom tunes.
This pretty picture of Keren Farabrandt and Fenrir appeared on the game's official Tumblr:

(Clicking on the image will take you to its Tumblr post.)

Posting it mainly because I haven't seen URPC updating the RMN profile (I hope you don't mind, Uppie ;) ).
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Nope! I can still check RMN at work, but I won't have any internet at my new apartment until Thursday evening.

That's not even really a new picture, haha. I just wanted to update the Tumblr so I sent the screenshot to my phone and uploaded from there. That screenshot is from Auslen, and I've since moved on to Mysidia which I'm still mapping. Settled in at the new apartment, so I'll probably be able to concentrate on the game again starting this week now that things aren't so hectic for me.
Hi, Uppie.

I'm glad you updated the Tumblr 'cause it started to feel abandoned a very lil' bit.

I'd like to compliment you on Fenrir's sprite: you're pulling out all the stops on this game, aren't you? ;P
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Haha, well, I'm hoping! Truth to be told, Fenrir doesn't really animate much right now. His downward walking animation is fine and he can face up, but that's it so far. I need to finish his animations, because he's a bit more mobile on the screen soon and I can't have this giant inanimate wolf just sliding around the map!
If you give him sleigh, he can slide all night long! ;P
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Cloud of Boredom was slain! Patient UPRC is victorious! Internet Connection received. Internet Connection equipped to New Apartment.

Time to sink all of my FTP (free time points) into the game development trait again.
