Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

  • Fixed issue that allowed Zephyr to be removed from party lead at a time he is supposed to remain in that position.
  • Fixed issue that caused Mohadmal Tomb hummingway to crash the game when trying to start a card game with him.
  • Fixed issue with Rudra not being fully visible on screen when he is flying to Auslen. Only his tail could be seen.
  • Fixed issue with Tetra Master card shop windows being excessively narrow by reverting to default shop menus.
  • Fixed some minor issues with pathing and treasure chests in the Overgrowth.
  • Fixed some typos present during the party's initial boat ride to Lenadia.
  • Gave Cid a unique weapon called Commander's Blade with high magic and vigor stats to give players a better sense of Cid being a strong leader.

Time to sink all of my FTP (free time points) into the game development trait again.
That's warktastic news, Uppie! I hope to see something new now and again.
I was thinking of making a Final Fantasy fan game and noticed you have a lot of tiles and monster sprites. I just thought I would ask 1st if it ok to use any or is it a no go zone? I understand if its a no i just wanted to check before I copied so no one gets mad at me. also what about copying mini games sorry if I made you mad.

Most of my monster sprites are just edits or recolours. Except for a few very extensive edits (that you'd probably be able to know aren't from any particular game), feel free to take whatever you want.
I don't know if it is just my demo but I think I found 2 different swords have the same name mithril sword with different attack.

Something's not quite right about that, because there is only one Mythril Blade in the database.
I know it listed as a different sword in crafting I think one is 18 attack and one might be 20 to 30attack I will post a pic of them.

That might help, because I'm more than 100% convinced that there's only one Mythril Sword in the database since I have it neatly organized this time around (the weapons tab is alphabetical and categorized by weapon type).

Not yet! I'm moving at a good pace, though. Considering I've been working on the game for less than a year and I'm already working on the third continent (there are four, plus a few other areas not seen on the world map), I'd say I'm doing pretty good. Originally, I thought I'd finish the game around January 2016, but the summer of 2015 is probably much more likely at this rate.
Ah. Ok. Just checking. No rush. Good games take a lot of time. Keep up the good work. :)

To reflect my pace throughout the year thus far, I've bumped my target completion date up to June 1, 2015. Let's see if I can make it even sooner than that!
