Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Actually, Ami wasn't that really memorable for me. If there is one female character that I really liked in the first game it is Vera (I have soft spot for summoners actually since they usually get very emotional background and story and scenes and everything). Well, everyone is different and enjoys different aspects of a character so it's actually nice to have a diversive cast. Actually, the wholeness of the sequel's playable cast is more enjoyable than even half of the first game's playable cast.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
The only character I've never heard someone say "they're always in my party" about is Bosche. For the most part, every character seemed to have a fan in the first game.

By the time the second game is finished, I want the same to happen with it for sure.
I always had Ami. Blue Mage for the win.
my all time fav was Vahn UPRC knows why that is ;)
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Because of something that no longer exists!
Card tournament yes please. I just wish black moon prophecy had more save points like that cave with Gilgamesh. Also I wish I could pause in battle. I take it since you did not comment you dont mind me useing your scripts and events so I will go ahead with it then.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
I don't think you need to pause the battles. I think that the ATB script only affects the party rather than monsters. I think that, what I've got going on, is basically the equivalent of FF6 with the wait setting enabled for the ATB so that monsters don't attack while you're idle.

I didn't have a save point in the Eastern Ivalice Pass? If not, I'll add one. It's certainly a good location to stick one in. It could be the only dungeon without a save point!

Also, more polls! These ones deal with bosses and how difficult they are: http://blackmoonprophecy.wordpress.com/2014/09/19/boss-difficulty-polls/
There were a few bosses that I didn't vote into any of the three categories, largely because I couldn't remember the fight well enough to say.

I actually started up Blackmoon Prophecy 1 again just for kicks and I have to say so far this game is better in every way. Writing, combat, balance...everything. Keep up the great work.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Oh, totally. Only the VERY last few hours of the first game can come close to the sequel. The vast majority of the first game's content was several years old even before the game was finished, haha.
Haha, yeah. I'm on my way to the Fire Crystal and after having a character one shot by a single target spell for the 300th time I'm just like "...maybe I'll just redo the demo for 2 and look for more typos" lol
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
yeah, the balance is wonky for the first few hours. I think it evens out after you get to Lenadia, haha.
Will this game be as long or longer that the 1st one because it I dont know if its just me or because I am over leveled but it feels kind of shorter than the 1st. Liike thier were more levels in the beginning of number 1 maybe its because in this I leve way fasterI am aready half way to level 30 and only out of that cave with Jasmine at level 27 with 25000 to spend
Vanille, you're seriously starting to scare me off. To grind so hard to have already level 27...
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Hahaha, how the HELL would you even get to level 27+ and why would you do it? Nothing in the game warrants a character being over level 17/18, you're realy going into overkill mode there! Remember that future saves aren't going to work any longer due to script changes and several sweeping database alterations. It's not that I'm saying "don't use them, they'll mess the game up", I'm literally saying that the game won't be able to read old saves, lol.
The only character I've never heard someone say "they're always in my party" about is Bosche.

*cough* *cough*

Well, to be fair, I did have him in there for a while until I started using Jamine towards the latter half. :)
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Good, you'll be exercising consistency then since Jasmine is such a beast in the sequel!
Awesome! I love when one of your former party members in the first game gets a serious buff in the sequel and kicks even more ass than ever before.

I mean, I’m definitely going to use her again; I’m just not sure who else I’m going to use...maybe Hautley, Carina and somebody else - but yeah, I’m definitely going to use her again.
Remember when I got everyone to level 99 before the end of World 1 in BP1? :D Good times.
@Couillie: seriously? People are too into grinding. >.<
Seems like people enjoy hard fights and the amount of time grinding uses.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
