Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Check out Blackmoon Prophecy across the internet for lots of progress updates and screenshots not shown on RMN (in order to prevent spamming the front page/everyone's notices).

"Tomorrow night" is today night.
Hype. PLease universe help him.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Well, it's more or less ready to go. I just need to decide if I want to make the next dungeon and include it. :p
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
New download now up! Time to start that download counter at zero again!
Man, I logged on at exactly the right time. I am download 1! Be jealous, everyone. :P
So, can I use the save from the old demo in this one?
I copied the save to the new install and it didn't show up.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
No, old saves are completely incompatible. That wasn't intentional, it's just that the scripting changes over time rendered old saves unreadable.
I thought so. I don't mind restarting though. Thanks for answering.
It's been a wonderful experience so far! Just reached... Crescent Village, I think it was? Oh my, my memory's pretty terrible...

Either way, I've logged 2~ hours and my two main characters are Lv.5. It honestly took me a while to get used to the battle theme, because at first it didn't quite click with me, but I've grown accustomed to it!

Loved every bit of it so far, though, but I'll resume tomorrow. Fantastic job, UPRC!

For a visual, here's my progress so far:

Hello.I got a problem,maybe spoilers so
Im in Altair, and gives the right password to the guard outside the tunnel. The guard says access granted. The screen turns black one second and the guard still stand there. How should i go in the tunnel?
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
I was alerted to some passability issues in Mt. Zahg that cropped up despite testers and myself getting by without issue, but I identified the cause and I made a fix.

I'll be adding it to the main download as well.

Hello.I got a problem,maybe spoilers so
Im in Altair, and gives the right password to the guard outside the tunnel. The guard says access granted. The screen turns black one second and the guard still stand there. How should i go in the tunnel?

That shouldn't happen and I don't recall this occurring for anyone else (testers and players have all passed this part without issue). Do you recall what the other choices were besides the correct password when you chose it?
Not the first time, but when i try again : Fluffy Kitty,Rosebud,Water rondo or Gold Chocobo,Meteo,Tonberry.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
And it still doesn't let you through?
No,its really strange. The guard is still there.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
It is strange, because I checked the event before I left for work this morning and I saw nothing that should keep him in place like that. Answering with the correct password activates a switch in every instance, so I have no idea what to make of it.

I don't know how to fix such a thing from happening to you since nobody else has ever had this problem (I'm aware of two others running this download who passed that point without issue), but I CAN remove the guard from your save file if you'd be willing to upload it somewhere. That could also possibly help me in diagnosing what's going on and why it's only affecting you.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Yeah, the URL is there... sort of, haha. I can get it though, just give me a few hours to get home from work.
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
Well, I have no idea what to tell you! I loaded up your save, went into town, and the guard wasn't there. I went back out and saved just for the hell of it, so...

If you STILL have that guard showing up (in which case I'll be convinced your computer is a practical joker), then I'll just give you a version of the map with the guard not standing in that position.
?? He stands there one three to the left and 2 to the right and asks for password and i give it and he still stands there.I dont understand, how is it possible?
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.
I don't see how it can be possible, to be honest. He wasn't there when I loaded your save, so something it has to be something occurring on your computer.

Anyway, replace the map with this updated version that completely moves the guard: http://www.walagata.com/w/uprc/Map157.rvdata2
How to take a screenshot? Is it 2 lindblum soldiers /guards?No.Im really sorry but the guard who is asking for password is still there after i replaced the map.
Im not joking,i promise.its so strange.
I really understand you have done all you can do.
Im going to restart my computer but i dont think its going to solve this.
