Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Check out Blackmoon Prophecy across the internet for lots of progress updates and screenshots not shown on RMN (in order to prevent spamming the front page/everyone's notices).

WAT? AND I NO PLAY FULL FISRT GAM NEIGH? WHY LIFE FAST NO TIEM WOW?

...sorry you blew my mind. Got a spare one for the time being~nya.
Today is my birthday...I feel like you should let me play now. ;)

Great to hear this is finished! You worked really hard on this, and if the demos are still accurate, that work really paid off.
UPRC
Exciting, but ultimately pointless.

completed?! where'd the download button go? ahhhh. Happy holidays UPRC! Thanks for the christmas gift :D

It's not up on RMN the moment I finish it, haha. I just wanted it to be known that the game is done. It "might" be up tomorrow. Absolutely no later than Monday morning.
Successful download off Google Drive!
... but ... I'm still replaying #1. I might be finished tomorrow? Just offed the five fiends, but there appear to be like a dozen bonus dungeons that weren't there when I played a few years back...
Thanks for all the hard work! In a day or three, I'll definitely be giving this a whirl!
Please Help I downloaded this game to play but got this when I click on New Game
Thanks
Downloading now, thanks X 1 million man!!
In any RPG that gives me the option I like to rename all party members to family and friends, so I did that in this game too. Changed Reiner's name to Ryan but the dialogue didn't reflect that in this scene. I'll try and keep notes of every time this happens for you.

Quick question i was wondering if someone knew how to help. I'm playing the game on my laptop and on the world map the frame rate seems really slow/laggy. I tried it on a desktop and it worked fine. Any insight as to why the map is lagging would be appreciated

@UPRC: This happens when you use the "Add Party Member" option and have "Initialize" checked in. It will automatically revert the character's name to whatever it is in the database.

On my phone so I won't worry about quoting right now. Forgive any typos, auto-correct is off.

Reiner's name - might be an instance of me accidentslly writing the character name out instead of the command to display his name. I don't think I would check the initialize box since I know what that does, but I'll take a peek when I'm home.

Slow laptop - specs, maybe? There are a few common events running on the world map to control the mini-map and chocobo graphics, but I don't think any testers had ever reported any slowdown issues after I removed Mode 7 last year.

Shadow error - the shadow file is the actual shadow that displays under party members in battle. It should 100% be in the system folder unless you moved it for some reason. Double check the folder. If it is there and you are still getting this error, it must have a
Something to do with how your system.is reading the file.
Minor thing that I am not sure if it's something that was always there and I had gotten used to it in the demos and just need to get used to it again, an actual problem, or just a me problem due to my aging PC but after every battle, there is a small delay between killing the last enemy and the victory/rewards popping up. It's not huge -- only like 1-1.5 seconds. Just noticeable due to, well, how often you fight in RPGs.
Sadly, it appears I can't play the game. When on the world map I can move with bad lag for about 5 seconds before everything freezes. This is not a game freeze kind of freeze, but a my screen doesn't seem to update/refresh the image kind of freeze. I can constantly open and close the menu to update the picture and very slowly move in an unbearably slow manner.

whacker,

Here is the world map without the common events that control the mini-map and chocobo graphics (showing who rides Winter). See if this one helps: http://www.walagata.com/w/uprc/Map001.rvdata2
Yay I fixed it I don't think anyone will have the same problem is me but if they do
Change the File Shadow 1 by removing the one
Yes definitely my system missing knock sound file found key file changed that to knock fixed that well I hope no one gets the problems I just had

Didn't seem to help any. I've only come across one other rpgmaker game with a similar sort of behavior. It was a big map in a latter area of Everlong replete with a scripted minimap and an events where you had to gather your stranded party. At first I moved very laggy and had to constantly open and close the menu to get anywhere and as I found my party and I guess cleared the events from the memory of the game or something (Don't really know the technical jargon)the lag slowly disappeared. Cue an update a week or so later where a memory issue/bug/leak or maybe just an issue with the map script was fixed and the area was playable. Maybe something similar is happening here or maybe my laptop is garbage.(It is, but I didn't think it was this garbage) Come what may, I've been patiently waiting too long to play this damn game and I will even if I have to sell a kidney to buy a new computer.
