Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Check out Blackmoon Prophecy across the internet for lots of progress updates and screenshots not shown on RMN (in order to prevent spamming the front page/everyone's notices).

A few questions for things I can't seem to figure out on my own.

1. How do you make the Atma Sword?

2. Where are Varanodons or at least their fangs?

3. Where the heck is Lysha?

1.
Go to Mohadmal Junction, unequip the sword and talk to Baku if you have a fragment he'll upgrade it. If you don't have the sword or any fragments.. I don't remember where they all were offhand.

2.
Varanodon drop them.. The spawn outside Odins house in the original world map, or in the grassy bit to the southeast of mog town mountain - I think.

3.
Go back to her outpost from earlier and she should be around

Also found Kappa.. If you just want a hint where to look
Go back to the underground
. If you wanna know exactly where he is then
In Necropolis

Bug:
The card player in the desert pyramid crashes the game.. He is linked to the wrong deck like the one in Necropolis was.
Thank you!

Now I just gotta find the sword. Probably missed it someplace super obvious.
I had Lysha join me on the airship but she just shows up as a merchant vendor is there anything else that needs to be done to get her to join the party or is that just triggered later on in the story I just met Odin?

Also I found the two soliders is the ????? Character / not Kappa hard to find?

any trick to the puzzle with ultros in skyreach? It's not very self explanatory. Thanks
About Lysha:
I originally found her in Faluhd castle, on the 3rd world map. She said she'd meet Silas on the Airship. She did not. Possibly she was there on the 1st world map, this was the way to get her as an airship vendor, and I missed her? After doing that, for some reason, she moved to Mistwalker Post (a cave system that used to have a lot of dead people in it - including before I thought to revisit Faluhd on the 3rd map.) Inside one of the otherwise empty buildings. There, she offered to join, and did.

The Atma Weapon:
I don't remember exactly where - an early game weapon, somewhere in Lenadia. I know I found it not long after Silas joined. I'm afraid it might have been in the Aether Mine Caverns, which means you're SOL - they're locked off late game. There are 3 'Atma Fragments' - I think also all in Dungeon chests. I don't remember exactly where either, but the 3rd isn't until the 3rd world map.

About Kappa:
Neat, that's where I was going to look tonight. I'd reasoned out - maybe incorrectly :p - from the character page that he was somehow the ship's captain we left for dead ... and that the Necropolis made sense as a place to look (also just about the only place I hadn't tried yet...)

About the ???? Character:
The one I see labelled "????" - the woman with purple hair - isn't optional at all, it's just that her identity is a major spoiler. You'll get her eventually - not long after finishing Odin's task, in fact. Other than Kappa, Lysha, Twill, and Loxley there is a 5th character it is optional to finish the game with ... make sure you actually inspect Zephyr's sister's tomb, and then talk to the seer in Rivera, to get started. One item she requests, the Dark Matter, cannot be found until almost the end of the game.

About Varanodons:
Right outside his house. But not until an event changes the world map encounters permanently. Afterwards, he wants Star Dust. Anybody know? And if I keep helping him, does anything significant come of it?

Things that I do not think actually exist:
A NPC in Cornelia talks about Lukahn's Laboratory to the West. Removed?
After a major cataclysmic event, Vera has a line about "Orilon's Master, Malacore *and Omicron* fighting ... far as I can tell, Omicron otherwise got retconned out of the game.
Emperor Alduin gave me a key to a chest in his quarters - but the guard won't move away from the door.
A use for the Desert Lotus - 20 Rosetta Stones from Visage. Crafting? Somewhere? Or just a mythology gag to the similiarly expensive and useless(?) one from BP1?
King Vale seems to suggest the Diamond Weapon or similar is still out there. Slaying Shinryu suggested he was the herald for someone. Is there a superboss I missed?

EDIT: And I won! 55 hours in.
About the Ending:
Well - I certainly wasn't expecting that. Might it have been different if I didn't off Shinryu - or would the final boss have just been even more of a Giant Space Flea from Nowhere? Even abusing the heck out of the Raven Twins, he was quite the luck-based challenge - principally because a) I needed to use ribbons b) Ribbons don't block stop for some reason and c) was reluctant to use Megaelixirs and d) After unlocking the Rift Shrine, I had just said 'screw it, Moogle Charm time', and level 60 wasn't really enough for everyone to survive some attacks.

Soo there is a 5th secret character who joins late game who is surrounding Zephyr's sisters tomb thanks for the FYI. Is it the character whose fate is morbid after the three scenario split part or does that character come back at a different time and this character is someone completely different

use the teleporter, you most probably can't teleport directly to Zen from there. (this is assuming that you already collected the 10 datacores from the basement and turned on the generators)

Thats whats confusing, none of the options put me anywhere close to village of zen
I didn't get the teleporter either. But if you go to, say, Mysidia, you can then go to Zen. Not sure why you can't directly.
@garitharwen: I'm not answering that :P Just don't neglect Izulde in anticipation of getting a better healer back. You'll need him (or Loxley, I guess) for a long time.
Trigger is a great healer, as long as you give him mage clothes.
Anyone with X-Magic is, if you find an X-Mastery materia. Even moreso if they can equip a Nirvana staff... That's how I eventually ended things, though my replacement never outleveled Izulde.

Trigger is an okay healer, but you have to replace him with a better healer as the game progress.

Eh. Only thing he's really missing is X-Esuna, and it hurts a bit, sure, but Ribbons and X-Remedies are common enough that it's not really an issue. As far as numbers go, he heals plenty throughout. Like I said, just pump his Magic and it's a perfectly viable heal.
As someone already said, the final boss has an all hitting status inflicting attack that can't be prevented by ribbons, so its just a roll of a dice weather you die or not. get stopped or berserked and you are dead. Also stop can not be cured by esuna or remedies, the only way I found to cure it is by using Izludes final Limit.
Poison, Burn and regeneration also don't do anything.
I've definitely cleared Stop with Remedies before. I assume Esuna will also do it, but I'm 100% sure on Remedies.

Those three do work, they're just a lot slower/weaker than I expected them to be and so not really noticeable when you have a lot of health.
Remedies cure Stop, but Esuna doesn't!
Zero Bells and certain armor prevent stop. Note that you can't walk out of the final dungeon to get more, though! No one ever remarks on it in game text, but right before the bit with the 3 doors, you just can't walk backwards to the previous screen...
This may have been brought up before, and it's only minor, but there's a chest in the western portion of Alexandria (mysidian/mage area) that gives you an "Energy Shard," but it's actually a Luck Shard that you receive.
Did you remove Squall from Hillsdale?

I think this was mentioned before but Zephyr is required for Faluhd, then not required immediately after. But every scene between then and Mohadmal Junction when Reiner tells him to take a break plays out as if Zephyr was the lead. I’d have Reiner as point and his sprite would change to Zephyr who isn’t even in the party.
