Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Check out Blackmoon Prophecy across the internet for lots of progress updates and screenshots not shown on RMN (in order to prevent spamming the front page/everyone's notices).

Stuck in the Balmag Subterane. I am at the cross roads where a boulder appears either in middle or close to left path or close to right path. How do I proceed to next map? anyone? ty

Berserk doesn't work with the Genji Glove. The afflicted character only attacks once.

Same for Atma weapon, berserk / dragon horn only allows for one attack i guess
Please UPRC for the next update fix the issue with Berserk because I want to beat this final boss!!!! and finally see the ending of your great game.
Just finished the game. This is just my opinion. Nothing personal. Not a fan of that ending in the least.
I too kind of wondered if there were multiple endings, and I'd stumbled my way into the bad one... but it is what it is, and still an interesting send-off to what turned out to be about a 90 hour epic of a series.
Maybe there are but, I figured that would have been mentioned if there were multiple endings. I thoroughly enjoyed the game until the ending.
Anyone have any tips for defeating the boss of
Berona Research Facility? Duo Flare and Double Kick is a party wipe.
Hey guys need some help, i forgot where to go to buy the stuff to let winter search for buried items.....
Chocographs are in Hillsdale, aren't they?

@Eliminator
Now that you mention it, that was the only boss other than the endgame ones that legitimately took me out. But just trying a second time knowing he meant business clenched it. I assume you've got Izulde up to snuff as a healer, with a strong X-Cure spell? If you do, probably the only other thing you can do is be faster than him. And Running Shoes are the cheapest prize at the Colosseum ... and by *far* the most valuable...

Can't leave the continent of Berona, and Izlude leaves the party after fighting finishing up Mt. Valla. You pick a party in Mogtopia after that and can't change it since everyone goes back. I picked Zephyr, Jasmine (both with Running Shoes), Hautley, and Trigger (he's the only one with a party wide healing spell).
The problem is that pretty much everything the boss throws at me is OHKO, and I can't keep up with reviving.

If you got OHKO-ed by it, then leveling up some more or equip relic or materia that increases HP so that you have time to use healing spell. Or pick Bolt as secondary healer.
So for the (I think) final boss, I'm stumped on how to deal with:

Pandemic, which gives my team berserk even through ribbons, which means I lose control and die a few rounds later. I went through all of my items and nothing that I could find protects from berserk. How do you deal with it, or do you just keep reloading and pray he doesn't choose to use that attack the whole fight?

I'm the one that said that. I'm not actually sure the Atma sword is in the Aether caverns. Somewhere around that stage of the game, though - as in "the only time I bothered using Silas".
Do note that you can find a Lionheart sword that is almost as good for Silas ; and that your other sword wielders may well prefer a sword with +Magic on it anyway.
The only truly indispensable, easily-missable item I located was the Dual-Wield materia, stolen from
Ixion's 2nd encounter
. That, a Genji Glove, and her two best weapons, and Sapphire was doing around 35,000 per attack command in the final dungeon! (And due to the way her magic scales, her ninja scrolls were competitive with Neo-Bahamut if they could hit an elemental weakness!) I never did find another copy of that materia, either ... and I was really hoping to, too, ready to dump Jasmine the instant I did.

You can buy the vigilance materia at the arena, which is the same as duel wield with out the stat boosts but gives an extra attack... You can get it as soon as you have an airship if you don't mind grinding the arena awhile.

x-magic also lets you use any character with x-magic as your healer.

I agree, I didn't really like it.. More because their isn't a lot of set up for the massive jumps it takes(and it doesn't really make a lot of sense).. But I guess it gives him more leeway for the next game, if he makes one.

Also where exactly was Twill and Roxley? I never got them.. They just kinda vanished when I got the airship.. and I figured they'd show up again to get but I never saw them anywhere..

Felt like it negated the whole series. Like it all just amounted to nothing. Also, like it was just sort of a short cut to tie it all up. I don't wanna spoil the end though by going into detail. Bad ending.
Beat the boss, thanks for the input. Grinded a few levels and was able to get through it by spamming limits and Power Coating!

Anyway, couple more things I found UPRC. Not necessarily bugs, more like oversights and minor fixes:

Twill's Spear Butt limit is described as "attack using 30J's spear."

In Antlion's Den, the regular battle music changes to the Fort Condor theme, and there is no victory music. I don't know if this is intentional or not, it's certainly kind of odd because no other area has this change.

There are still enemies in the president's house after you return to Berona. Kind of weird with the assistant there saying everything is okay but I'm still encountering Behemoths.

After Forest of Zen, but before you go to Berona, there is a mage blocking the door to the teleporter to go to other areas in the Mage Quarter. Again, not sure if this is intentional and you don't want the player to go back to other places via teleporter (I wanted to go do bounties). But the mage doesn't say anything like "you can't go here" his dialogue is just some random line.

It's "Garula" not "Galura" :p

In Mogtopia you get a Golden Sword book which teaches Silas Blade Gleam,
a skill he already has. They're essentially the same thing except one
costs 3MP less and heals stun instead of stop.

You can walk on some of the wall tiles in Bahamut's Tower (the ones next
to the doors). The same goes for the arena: you can walk behind the dragoon
and over the doors.

The rabbit place (Mizuda's Refuge?) doesn't seem to exist, but some villagers are talking about it in Lenadia. I don't remember which towns...I think it was Organa or Hillsdale.

In future versions you may want to go back and change some of the NPC dialogue as the game progresses. I went back to Neirbrook and some of the NPCs are still talking about Ixion in Dawnmarch.
There's a bug
In a port town when you first met Mira (forgot town's name), It happened on the port (the place where Mira and her subordinates gather after she left the Mayor's house). The scene kept triggering after the fight with her subordinates whenever I step onto a specific tile.
The game was super cool! I loved how all of your cities/continents had a very distinct vibe. There were a few minor bugs in battle with summoning and the character disappearing but nothing too crazy on such a huge project (I would expect a lot more considering the scope). The ending though...very different and not what I expected.

Where are the Mysidian Archives?
They're in Mystic Mysidia (they're kind of hidden on the far left in a building).
Question for those of you who have beaten the game:

Is Necron the final boss? I saved before him, which appears to be a point of no return as I can't backtrack at all, but I can't beat him either (please tell me berserk ignoring ribbons is a bug that's being fixed next update....)

I don't think I did any optional stuff if this truly is the end-game. My only other save is from like five hours previous, and if Necron is the end-boss I may just have to start over from that earlier save and try to hunt down optional content to level up more before trying him again.

If he's not the end boss and there's more content after him, I'll just level grind in the part of Garland's ship that I'm stuck in and try him some more.
