Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Check out Blackmoon Prophecy across the internet for lots of progress updates and screenshots not shown on RMN (in order to prevent spamming the front page/everyone's notices).

Stop trying to defeat Fumigator, lmao. He's not meant to be beaten at all yet. As for the feedback, a lot of it has been addressed over the last several weeks and A LOT has changed. As it stands right now, ore can't even be used for anything since crafting was removed from the game.

If the other marks were difficult, then you were probably slightly underleveled! ;)

No, I've beaten all Marks before Fumigator. And I'm well overleveled by the end of the Demo, since according to you, by the end of the demo, players should be at about level 17/18, all my characters was over level 20, Carina is level 26, she's the highest level, since I've played her ever since she joined. She and Hautley(lv 24) been the permanent party members, and I think they're the best.
As for the rest of the party: Jasmine is lv 24, Bolt (whom I love for the ability to steal is lv 23), Trigger is lv 19, Zephyr lv 24, Sapphire lv 21, Edric lv 22, Reiner lv 22.

I think I can beat him.

Please elaborate on your statement.
author=]1. Which characters from the main cast feel pretty well developed in terms of personality thus far?
2. Which characters from the main cast need more exposure in cutscenes and the like?
3. Do you like the idea of every character inevitably getting their own dungeon/quest? Think Nobumasa and the Tower of Trials in the first Blackmoon Prophecy.[/quote

1. I think Zephyr, Reiner, Hautley, Jasmine has pretty good background.

2. Bolt, Sapphire, Trigger, Edric and Carina could be expanded a little more.

3. I'd like it very much!!!!

I'm 99% certain that you won't be able to unless you grind your characters up to ridiculous levels (I'm talking 50 at the bare minimum). Please don't even attempt to beat Fumigator, there's no reason to at the moment.

You know reading the time line, this game is all Vahn's Fault!!!!!1

How so? Explain!!!!

Well if Vahn would have got off his ass and told the people in the Republic that this just isn't going to happen, then the place wouldn't of gotten out of hand.
UPRC, I have a special treat for you and Brandon ;)

I can't really listen/watch since I'm at work at the moment, but I'll gladly check it out later when I'm home!
Great. The sequel looks like FFVI (III SNES) and even has new music.

I noticed the project file of FFBPII, and I saw how the game looked like, and it's scripts.

I suggest moving Yanfly's Menu? Cursor to MOG's Animated? Cursor, because Yanfly's script crashes when selecting Cancel in the Quit/End Game Menu.

Besides that, good game. I have to ask: Can I use the battlers in my game?
I know it's your game, but the monsters would fit my game's story.

99% of the monsters are just rips, so go ahead. If you see one that you're not sure about, just give me a holler.

OK, thanks. I noticed something odd since they look exactly like in GBA versions of FF's. Except for Ifrit, I am sure he was "modded"...xD

And what's a holler? Not English, it isn't my first language.

So, if you don't bother, I want to ask something again. I am OK of you accept or not.

Here is it: Since you have ripped monsters, I ask if you can make a rip of Culex... Maybe you could find something on the net, amplify and send?!
And... The battle script, is it Tankeitai?

If this is successful, you should ask Square to make the real 3D remake of it, like with FFIII and FFIV.

By the way, if you have time, check my game: http://gamejolt.com/games/rpg/crystals-of-elements/31740/

I really appreciate if you help me. I will credit you if so.

EDIT: Culex is from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (SNES).

Sorry to butt in, but that would be the most horrible idea to happen. Square Enix is very sensitive when it comes to fan-made content, especially games and remakes, and they instantly shut anything that may imperil their view of "SE is best creator of FF series".

Mmm, I guess you're a bit right.

But, still, it would look awesome in 3D.

But that sucks, because he could cooperate with Square and it would be impossible to have it in 3D without Square. Like Final Fantasy All The Bravest. It was developed by BitGroove, and it's a RPG that sucks. This would look great if revamped, or re...something?! OK, here's the point, like FF's remakes for the GBA and PSX and PSP, there should be an avaiable version, made by Square, co-developed by UPRC, and it would look great, and would give money to both, most to Square, due to...IDK.

EDIT: Sorry for double-post.

Thomas Stout (Let's Player and tester of the game) says the same things, even though I remind him on an almost weekly basis that wishing for one of my fangames to be endorsed by Square is more or less impossible, lol. They're not too keen on fan material, just ask anyone who tries to make serious Chrono Trigger fangames.

Now, it might be a little different if this was a Mega Man game! Capcom is curiously supportive of fangames, and good for them. Good to see at least one major developer out there who gives fangames a thumbs up.

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy 1 is the GREATEST GAME ever made!!! The second one is going to be great too!!! It hasn't got to the OMFG WTF JUST HAPPENED moment yet, but I am sure it will. UPRC makes these 2 games 1,000,000 times better then ANYTHING Square-Enix has ever made!!!

Yeah, that happened with Street Fighter X Mega Man (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_Fighter_X_Mega_Man)!!!

Square and Nintendo should do the same (Super Mario Bros. X & Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy, for example)

I think that Nintendo is consciously aware of SMBX and such, given that they're coming out with Mario Maker. It may not be as robust, but it definitely seems to be Nintendo's answer to people making their own freeware Mario products.

Now...

I don't know how you can think that, lol. I really don't.

But! The "WTF JUST HAPPENED" moments are on the horizon. Several of them. They're going to be hitting fast and frequent, which is why I'm holding off on forcing myself to work on the game when I'm low on motivation. I need to be motivated for the big stuff like Faluhd Castle, the finale to the Lenadia portion of the game, the stuff that happens in between Berona/Lenadia, and then Berona Republic itself.

I think that the only characters who aren't going to get "whoa, what just happened!?" moments are Hautley, Reiner and Sapphire through story progression. They'll each get theirs in optional personal story sidequests, though Reiner will of course HAVE to spew vitriol at Ramuh again. It's inevitable, because Reiner's agenda with Ramuh is very personal.
By the way, can you get Culex for me? Thanks, UPRC.
