Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Check out Blackmoon Prophecy across the internet for lots of progress updates and screenshots not shown on RMN (in order to prevent spamming the front page/everyone's notices).

@Sinzar
Yup, last boss. I think being stuck on that part of the ship is a bug too? I only managed to beat Necron on 1.03, by abusing the unfixed Raven Twins - I have no idea how I'd beat him legitly without hitting like level 80 - when level 60 is more than enough for the penultimate boss AND the bonus superboss in Kusku Salar. I'd also swear that *my* ribbons are blocking berserk ... or that they used to in 1.03? Or that the Zero Bells I equipped in addition to the ribbons to block Stop also blocked Berserk?
@Varn

Alright, I do want to check out the side content before beating the game, so I guess I'm restarting that old save anyway. Sigh, that save is all the way back when you first get sent to the past..... if not being able to backtrack from the final save point is indeed a bug maybe I'll just wait a few days to see if UPRC confirms it's a bug and fixes it.

I'm playing 1.04 and ribbons absolutely don't block berserk in this version. My team is around level 52-58 or so and I can beat Garland, then I can go toe to toe with Necron well enough, but as soon as he casts Pandemic and the whole team is berserked, there's literally nothing you can do but shake your head and wipe at that point since you lose all control of your entire team permanently.

UPRC, can you confirm whether or not it's a bug that you can't backtrack from the final save point before the end-boss, or was that intentional?
I'm on version 1.04
@Sinzar
Well, I used Catoblepas summon to ward off some magic attacks so I found this last boss was not that hard (using Vera, Zephyr, Bolt and Izlude). And I kept spamming unlimiter so that Vera and Zephyr can use their limit.
Quick question where is Rivera (town with the seer)/dark matter quest on the 3rd world map. For the life of me I can't find the town and have been flying around for 30+ minutes

Rivera's near the center of the map, northeastern Ivalice on a peninsula. She's on the east side of town. It's possible I told you the wrong name of the town :(
Also - Catobelpas summon? Did I miss one, or is it possible that you mean Carbuncle? I thought Carby was only Shell - which only raises Spirit - but maybe that helps resist berserk? I think Luck is supposed to resist status, and I wound up using 4 of the higher LUK characters... not that it ever resisted anything else that I noticed...
@Varn
Yes, what I mean was carbuncle not catoblepas XD. Carbuncle was reflect magic, but some magics can't be reflected such as Ultima, Flare, Dark Flare, Demi, single target Poison, Bio, Virus, and X-Death . Carbuncle unfortunately reflected X-Heal and X-Esuna, so I used single target Heal and Bolt's healing ability to heal the party.
Btw, where did you find the Black Matter?
@InvisibleDragon
It's in the Berona Republic, an optional dungeon that doesn't appear until the 3rd world map. Somewhat hard to see on the world map as it is near ice. Inside, you may not realize you can jump on the grey things in the water either. It's on the boss, who is inside a chest.

I wasn't using Carby; I could have sworn he just did Shell. But then, I only used him once, anyway. Probably against something like Flare.
Found a major bug:

In Eternia, the second puzzle with the glowing red/blue/yellow spots you have to hit in a certain order. If you try to leave the room you fight a zombie dragon, which I did to go back and save. Then when I tried to restart the puzzle it wouldn't let me, just kept having me fight the zombie dragon on that one tile. Puzzle doesn't reset.

I believe someone else had this same exact issue, but in the first puzzle with the glowing spots. You fixed that one but not this one. AFAIK this is a game-ending bug, so I can't progress any further...and I used the same save the whole time so I'm stuck.

Also, is there any hint to these puzzles or is it trial and error?
Where is the Echo Temple? I'm just running around blind after getting out of the Mage Tower.
Loving the game.
However, there may be a bug - after speaking to King Mog it says "received Dragoon Armour" but nothing shows up in the inventory in both V.1.03 and v.1.04.

It's not an item, I think UPRC already mentioned that in one of his posts.
Making Money

Not sure if this is an error or a good deal ! In Alexandria pawn shop - I buy 99 sprint shoes, 99 flan oil 99 iridium then sell them in the item shop - make over 30,000 each trip - kept this up to a million or more up to you !!

Echo Temple is a bit far from the Mage Tower. You need to move north east, past the Augurer's Colosseum, a bit north then east again and south.

It's not an error, I think. The price was set at random, so it can be considered one of the money making scheme.

Well, it's weird because I never encounter that bug. And there's no hint,
you need to try every combinations possible. And make sure you are playing the latest version of the game.

I haven’t found any way around it. This is the second puzzle like this in the dungeon not the first, and what I did was activate the lights, then leave prior to stepping on any of them. Sounds like it’s the same exact issue that was present in the first puzzle prior to UPRC fixing it earlier. But if it somehow worked for you I’d be happy if you could send me a save around that area :) my other saves are more than 5 hours earlier.

unfortunately, my first save file was very far from before going back to the past and my second save file was right before the battle against Garland...
Can anyone give me some tips on how to kill Eris please, I am getting slaughtered. My party are all around Level 35. Is she weak against ice?
