Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Check out Blackmoon Prophecy across the internet for lots of progress updates and screenshots not shown on RMN (in order to prevent spamming the front page/everyone's notices).

Stuck in the Balmag Subterane. I am at the cross roads where a boulder appears either in middle or close to left path or close to right path. How do I proceed to next map? anyone? ty

will anyone answer my question... pls
I am writing a GUIDE for this game, but I just reached the scenarios after reaching the continent of Berona. Currently I am in Branch.

Once I am at the questioned locations I will be able to help.

@UPRC: I have tried to contact you even on Steam, please look into here or there once a while.

Rock in center, go N.
Rock NE, go E
Rock NW, Go N
Rock SE, Go S

I'm not sure if there's an answer somewhere, I just did trial and error.
awesome! thanks so much. played this ages ago and finished it, but could not remember this part
How do I get all the optional characters and when can I get them?
Sometimes I'm not sure I'm playing the same game as everyone else - the NPC's tell me nothing - about extra players etc... and apparently you have to grind a lot to get threw it !! I'm at the point where I have vera and everyone in party is above 50 and really cant do to much to win battles or advance ! Any one have same problem - or just me ?
I'm totally lost!
I can't find Horseman's Rest in the great Ivalice desert, or any other desert.
In this desert are only Visage and the Sand King Tomb.
Edit: Found it!
I read that Loxley and Twill are actually recruitable, but when?
They said they'd join the group to help but until certain revelation
namely the Orilon revelation

they are nowhere to be seen. So when?
EDIT: Didn't know I have to talk to Castora's Mayor. Sorry for the trouble.
EDIT2: Now I encounter three problems after getting them.
1. If you have Twill as leader, both he and Loxley's sprite will be present at the airship. However, if you have Loxley as the leader instead, both of them are missing.
2. Speaking of sprite inconsistency, you can find Tenzin at both Bastion of Balance and Lindblum Castle.

3. Twill learns Demi at level 38, but the magic doesn't appear at all in his magic list.
Hello UPRC,
I am now before the final dungeon. But before I play further, I would like to ask you again to look into my bug report and update those bugs.

Are there more litte sidequests than those I already found when talking to a certain person with a certain character at the front?
  • I got Alduin's Key but can't enter his quarters.
  • I have met Mira.
  • I have all optional characters and finished the Kappa sidequest.

Some open things:
  • Hummingway of Costa del Vita Docks
  • Elder Maduin's house in Tzen
  • Montblanc's request seems not to be finished due of a bug (not recognising Baku)
  • Caraway quest: I still haven't found Star Dust.
Hello there, thanks for the great game, I'm really enjoying it so far, however I am currently stumped as I cannot find the Mhysidian Archives (where Unicorn should be).

I checked the world map, can't find it.
I checked Mystic Mhysidia, can't find it.
I checked Mhysidia's district in Alexandria, can't find it.

Could anyone tell me the exact location of this dungeon? It's the last of Odin's wardens that I'm missing and I've been banging my head at this for over one hour now.
It's in Mystic Mysidia, an unlabeled house on the west side of it.

Found it, thank you very much.
Thank you for making a guide for this game, I was kind of worried delving into the game considering how vast this game (that I think it is) like the last game, hate to skip something by accident.
If UPRC won't reply soon, I will public the link to all my guides of Blackmoon Prophecy (both parts) in their current state. As long as there are so many bugs especially in the end game, I don't like to push the guide further.

I still hope that anybody stumpled over some character sidequests by accident. It isn't easy to speak to every person with each character at the front.

A list of Chocography with screenshots and what to steal from which monster is included.

My guide is divided in parts because of the limited RAM of MS Word 2010. It is frustrating when Word is saving anytime I change into it. As soon as the guide is complete I will put them together into a single PDF.

Exciting, but ultimately pointless.

I am a terrible person! I promised an update a while ago, but never got around to it. I'll try to start work on one next week sometime. Would do it sooner, but I'm busy as a beaver until Tuesday with zero free time until then. I'll get sround to it though!

Also, if anyone ever needs assistance/help from me, the best way to do so is probably via Discord rather than on RMN since I always have Discord running if possible.
So, all side quests done - best weapons etc... - you can beat garland easy at level 60 - but the God after - if you don't grind to 80 - you cannot win ????

you can win around lvl 60+ by spamming limit break, you can buy the potion to restore limit at the pawn shop.
Errr someone found the elusive Star Dust?
No, not yet. We still wait for the promised update.
You can try to contact UPRC via Dischord.
This is a really fun game. I have come across many bugs or small errors, none of which hindered the experience. I'm having almost as much fun as I had with the first one - and I'm really happy to see you finished this one, UPRC. Looking forward to the updated.
