Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

Check out Blackmoon Prophecy across the internet for lots of progress updates and screenshots not shown on RMN (in order to prevent spamming the front page/everyone's notices).

Exciting, but ultimately pointless.

Huh, I'll have to take a look at that. There could very easily be some dialogue sequences I missed adding text to for when she's the party leader.
Ok, it's impossible to name the White Mage (Carina) anything else than her default name for some reason. I tried three times.

It still says Carina after name input.

Most likely due to the "Initialize" checkbox being checked when naming her (nothing you can do about that, UPRC would have to edit that event and patch the game).
Some other pointers about the configurations for the game.

I don't like that you can't simply remap the gamepad buttons to where you want them or that there's no way to change the movement controls. Movement landed on the stick on my 8bitdo SN30 Pro+.

The gamepad config only states which button it corresponds to in-game and not what they actually do. Same with the keyboard one too. Why's that? Seems awfully inconvenient.

Edit: Seems impossible to name anyone starting from Carina and onwards. I do have that Wait function database file. Assuming you should drop it in the folder with the exe file to work. Is that what's messing up the naming of characters?
I am a very big fan of your Rpgmaker games , very well done. I just have a question..Will this download ever be made in Zip or Rar format? Some of us can only play on mobile or Android and it would be great to try this game. I believe there is an emulator for this Rpgmaker type as I have Easyrpg which I use to play Blackmoon Prophecy ( 1st one) I know Im hoping to get a PC asap in general but for now will it be a future endeavor?

Thank you for all your hard work!
I have been trying to get this game
To work on Joi Play for a month it's really frustrating about to just give up. It says it works perfect on the emulator but keeps saying Missing game script as soon as I spend 20 mins installing and packing. If someone would be kind enough to throw some advice is appreciate it. Thanks..

Afraid I can't be of any help. I may only be able to offer any assistance if you're on PC. I don't know anything about these mobile emulators or how they work.
I finally got it to work! If anyone is using Android download JOiplay on Google play store it is free. the RPG plugin as well says JOIPLAYPLUGIN on Google play store and after downloading then add Blackmoon Prophecy 2 you must NOT add default engine upon the program asking for assets use other option ( only one other). It will work perfect.

Uprc very well done I am not surprised as I have been a loyal fan of your games for many years since Blackmoon Prophecy 1. Been playing on and off for 2 years due to switching devices etc and still only barely halfway through BP1. Just started BP2 and am greatly enjoying this!! Thank YOU for all your hard work. I have enjoyed countless hours of these games and a handshake is at the least deserving. Thanks buddy. Look forward to giving a review on both games. It's really great to know there is a community who still remembers Final Fantasys roots. Cheers and godspeed.
Ok. Where is the entrance to the Crystalline Grotto? It should be right there.

Okay. Some spoilers below about a cerrain boss fight.

What did you do with this boss? It hits so hard I thought it was one of those fights you were supposed to lose at first. From managable to sometimes challenging boss fights...then this one shows up.
Is there a glitch switching Zephyr in anyother party position? If anyone has a quick second. Just started over and wanted Reiner to be leader in top position ( To change party positions on mobile using JOIPLAY use keyboard option and hit Q) anyway just left Zephyrs hometown to the first cave and the fireplace scene ( Winter sleeping Reiner And Zeph taking a break) shows Two Reiner Sprites instead of Zephyr and Reiner. It appears changing Zephs position modified this.. So upon changing Zephyr back to top position the scenario appropriately shows Zephyr and Reiner and works fine. Just curious if i shouldn't change positions all game? Thank you.

Huh? You are not physically capable of switching Zephyr out of the lead until Echo Temple, which is a few hours in. The mobile emulator you are using is probably ignoring script commands that forbid party changing at the start.
I ran into similar glitches on my playthrough, Cjb413.
Other than when I used a character from the bonus content (see the previous page), it caused no issues at all, other than briefly taking me out of the game.

(Also, RetroFanatic - it *is* right there, but you can't enter until a major plot event changes a lot of things on the world map. For that fight - uh, I didn't have any major issues. But then my general strategy focused on out-speeding the enemies; I considered Edric and Hautley to be *godawful* characters because of how slow they were. Maybe try a different party if you have a save where you can?)

Running shoes are your friend!

A hasted Edric throwing out armor breaks is a TERRIFYING force.
... on the other hand, running shoes on characters that are *already* fast are even more your friend :) (Speed-enhancing accessories were pretty much the only ones I used, at least until Genji Gloves showed up. And even then, Auto-Haste would be the other one, unless the fight *needed* a ribbon.)

I'm sure there are a lot of viable strategies, but "Killing basically every random encounter - AND SOME EARLY-GAME BOSSES - before the enemy ever gets a single turn" is hard to argue with.

Probably my best single character was Bolt. I'm guessing he leveled much faster than everyone else because the intention was to only swap him in to steal from bosses? Or because he has probably the most limited moveset of anyone? (Or because, you know, spoiler story reasons.) But if he's in the party 100% of the time, he ends more than 10 levels higher than everyone else, and is a little god of destruction. *Especially* when he learns Aero3 and that guaranteed 9999 damage move way, way, way before it was intended.

Sapphire, and up until maybe the 60% mark of the game, Jazmine, were close seconds. And Jossley worked out great in the endgame, too.

Having Edric forced in for most of Lindblum was ... aggravating to me, but it was early enough that it didn't really matter. Having 3 slowpokes in Reiner's scenario was ... bad, but at least I could put auto-berserk on some of them by then. Having Reiner decide for no real reason he was going to lead the team in Eternia actually made me curse out loud.

Anyway, I obviously liked the game quite a lot (and am bummed about what happened to Blackmoon Prophecy 3 - a remake of the first sounds interesting!) I'll probably do a 3rd playthrough in a year or two, and try out a different strategy and characters; even if I'm right about "Speed > All" then it'll be like re-playing on Hard Mode :)
Hmm. I forgot some locations for the 5 wardens. Could someone post the locations here? And a spoiler-free guide of rhe game would be nice.

Edit: Skyreach Castle isn't even on the world map in the game's folder. And not all locations are marked accurately. Crystalline Cavern is just north of the Berona Research Facility.

A more high-res version of the world map would also be nice.
HELP
How do i beat monsters in horseman rest?
UPRC

RetroFanatic: Montblanc should tell you where to go. There's Crystalline Grotto (Berona Arctic), Skyreach Castle (sandy island in Lenadia), Mysidian Archives (library in Mystic Mysidia), Sodden Depths (by waterfall in Lenadia) and Ancient Castle (island off northeast coast of Lenadia).

fifacv: You attack them? Not sure what you mean, haha. What enemy is giving you grief?
Help pls. I cannot find Vera. Five hours flying around

You shouldn't be flying around to try and find her at all, she's in the Underworld and you recruit her through the story. She is not an optional character.
I've also noticed that the Peace Ring does not protect against berserk status despite this site below claiming it does. It doesn't even say it protects against berserk in the description of it in-game.
