Latest Update: Version 1.5 (January 23, 2021)

One hundred years after the events of Blackmoon Prophecy, the world of Gaia has recovered from the conflict with Emperor Belmont, Malacore, and Zeul which saw a group of adventurers, today known as the Light Warriors, save the world from certain doom.

The rebuilt Lindblum Kingdom stands proudly as the world's fastest growing economical and military force. With the fierce backing of Esperkind behind the kingdom, it appeared that nothing would disrupt the immense prosperity that Lindblum was experiencing until Esperkind suddenly turned against Lindblum. The game follows the adventures of a young Augurer (specially trained anti-Esper monster summoner) named Zephyr Highwind who is forced to abandon his simple lifestyle of looking after Winter, a white chocobo which belonged to his deceased sister Ezra. With new friends aiding him, Zephyr seeks to put an end to the rising hostilities between Lindblum and the Espers, led by Ramuh, before the conflict engulfs the entire globe.

Blackmoon Prophecy II features twelve main characters, five optional characters, and two guest characters. Expected playtime should be in the range of 40+ hours.

What am I supposed to do after beating Carbuncle? I spoke to Grandmaster Motot and he said to tell the Emperor. Janus said nothing of importance and I have no way of leaving Zen/Mysidia...

forget what I said about the tome, turned out it was a materia, not a tome.

they said that they found out that graviton isn't real, and the garland must be stopped (who has not been mentioned at all up to this point). I can't remember the exact quote now as i'm much further on in the game and it would be a lot of trouble to go back there but that was pretty much the gist of it.

by the way i'm at the datacore dungeon now and I opened a chest which which said I got and aqua 2 tome but there's no such tome in my inventory after opening it.

i'm at alexandria and I was speaking to a follower of graviton, and he's saying stuff I don't think you're supposed to know at that point in the game. I think you're not supposed to be able to talk to him til much later in the game but for some reason you can talk to him when you first get to alexandria. I won't say exactly what he says as I don't want to spoil the story (it spoiled things for me a bit) but I think this needs to be fixed.

Good to hear! The second to last boss was originally meant to be the final boss, with the actual final boss only becoming something I wanted to pursue when the game was at least half completed. Glad that you enjoyed it!
That was an interesting choice for an ending. I liked it.

Final boss was also really fun.

Nice way to merge FF9 lore into the game. I feel like you treated Necron how it could have been treated in the original. It didn't feel like it came out of nowhere

It took me a while to get used to the more linear structure of this one, but I ended up really liking it. Also nice to see a hard final boss (hardest encounter in the game ATM, if I'm not mistaken?).

A fun experience, 40 hours well spent. Thanks for the game.

where do i get the Libra Tomes at?

For thousands of years, I laid dormant. Who has disturbed my slumber?
I had a weird bug the first time I opened the save screen, where possibly after scrolling back and forth between save 1 and 9, the screen went permanently dark. I managed to save by sound alone, and then F12 to exit, but I couldn't reproduce this bug after that.

Also, you start the game able to save anywhere, but you lose this upon touching and leaving a save point.

There are some known errors with having Silas in the fourth (bottom) position and using skills which have been brought to my attention several times. I literally have NO idea why this happens at all and it's probably tied to the battle system script, which is entirely in Japanese (which I cannot read). For now, just don't put him in that position.

I'm aware of other issues, but this is a start.

This is a really fun game. I have come across many bugs or small errors, none of which hindered the experience. I'm having almost as much fun as I had with the first one - and I'm really happy to see you finished this one, UPRC. Looking forward to the updated.
