A) It bothers me incredibly that the sprites aren't on the same footing, but that's just a personal gripe.

B) Those houses do not mesh well with the colors and general feel of the rest of the map.

I actually just reached Costa del Vita the other day, so it’s nice to see that it’s going to make a return for the sequel. ^^

Yup! Several towns are returning and are going to have pretty faithful layouts when compared to the first game. Albrook, Altair, Auslen, (East) Branch, Clestance, Costa del Vita, Crescent Village, Darnecles Castle, Dawnmarch, Garamonde, Kaipo, Lenadia Castle, Leyton, Mysidia, Northdale, Oaktown, Organa, Rivera, Tzen, Village of Zen and Visage all return!

The Rift Shrine is still around, yup. Bacchus Garrison is very much the replacement (and more) for it in this game, though.

By the way. Is that town with the thugs and high crime rate gonna make an appearance? I thought it was a pretty hilarious and probably had the most personality out of all the other towns.

Since I hope to convert some Final Fantasy character in FFVI-styled sprites I present to you badly done Faris if you wish to include some easter eggs (well, pirates, harr-harr!):

(BTW: It's frankenspriting of Celes and Terra. ;) )
