I wanted to play this game. I really like what I've seen, but now I'm stuck in the ship graveyard and I can't purchase any items, which means I have no means of healing myself which means I can't fight Dlow and Brownbeard. So I guess that's game over.

EDIT: I made it up to the climbing mountain with the falling rocks after the cave with the torch switches. Climbing just to fall again is draining my will to go on so I'll call it here.
Braak is absolutely destroying me. I have all the best armor and weapons I can buy from the merchant, sadly I do not have any special skills for anyone besides Katana and his defense is so high that barely anyone besides Katana can scratch him, even if I use Defenseless...
Yeah, Braak is a bit of a cockblock. All I can suggest is grinding and stocking up on items, then focusing on keeping Katana dishing out damage. Also, Defenceless stacks until he's at 50% of his normal DEF. Still, this is where I wish we could open the game up in the maker.

If it's any consolation, he's the last really hard boss.
I just beat him. Did some grinding for money for a little while, bought an Ether Pot and a bunch of Great Pots, and some Magic Cures for when a single character was bleeding. That, along with some bandages I still had from earlier (useful for when 3 or 4 were bleeding), were enough to get me through the fight, but just barely. Decreased his strength a few times, then lowered his defense until I couldn't any more, and cast a couple of Full Forces on Katana and Goro. They dished out all the damage, while the other two provided support with items and magic.

EDIT: Ugh, now I'm mad. I died to that pirate attack afterwords...I didn't even realize I was in control, I thought a cutscene was still going on. I managed to get away from a few of them, but got cornered with like 8 of them blocking me in. Was out of healing items so couldn't heal my characters...There really needs to be a save point after Braak.

Still, this is where I wish we could open the game up in the maker.

Seriously, why isn't this an option? Why do people feel the need to corrupt their map tree when it's very possible that this might actually have a negative effect on their game? If a part of your game is completely unfair (as Kyubey has mentioned), I'd like the ability to skip over it or modify it so that it's not ridiculously unfair.

It really bites when you get so many hours into a game just to realize that it's physically impossible to progress and you're forced to quit. I ran into this with Legion Saga III v.3 and, I tell ya, I couldn't have been more livid.
Alright, there we go, I'm past the whole ship section now.

Overall, I've been enjoying this game so far. Translation is really iffy (as has been stated multiple times previously on here) but I get what's going on most of the time.
Now I'm stuck in the forest where you have to use the Revealer. I ran around and got the tree scene 3 times, and when I use the Revealer I see the spirit, but it doesn't move and I can't seem to do anything with it. Someone earlier in the topic said something similar...IS this a bug, or am I just missing something?

EDIT: Nvm, I just had to talk to it from the front of the tree. I was confused because there was no indication I could talk to it, I kept trying to walk behind the tree and touch it lol.

Tell me about it. I think he was a tad overzealous as protecting his custom systems goes.
Okay, so I'm now at the descent part after the huge tower, enemies are incredibly tough and I have no chance to buy items or prepare or anything. I got down to the lower area where you get attacked by 2 minotaurs and 4 wolfmen at once and it's just way too much. Can't run away from the wolfmen most of the time either. It would help if they at least put a dang savepoint after the first room. In fact, save points are something this game desperately needs more of, there are way, way too few of them in general.

I don't mind a challenge, but there's a difference between challenging and just outright unfair, and throwing you into a huge dungeon with super-strong enemies with absolutely no chance to prepare yourself, directly following another super-long dungeon which as far as I know is a point of no return, is just downright cruel. A merchant at the entrance, and a couple extra saves, and I wouldn't be complaining about this place.

Also, the game suddenly started having issues with the Harmony.dll file, it couldn't start up for some reason, so I had to re-download the game and transfer my saves to fix the problem.
Dude. You can walk out of that dungeon, backtrack to town, and buy all the stuff you need. It's tough at first, but it's the last dungeon.
Apart from Herion's final scenario, that is. Make sure you Level 50 him (the purple slimes make it fast).

Hold on, you can? I must have missed something, then, I could have sworn the way out of the Magic Cave was blocked as I couldn't find anywhere else to go other than the final dungeon. If you can leave, then nevermind my previous post, I'll find my way out and grind for a while. Thanks!
Well, I've failed the escape segment 3 times now. Getting really tired of having to fight the Black Knight over and over. I think I'll give this game a break for a while, but I'll definitely beat it at some point, I really want to see the conclusion.
I did it. I finally did it. Took 11 tries (if I didn't miscount) over the past couple of days, but I finally did it. It became easier when I started moving one space at a time rather than trying to go all over the place, the hardest part was dodging those energy bullets that fly in from the left without getting caught by the dark laser or the yellow one that fires through the center.

Can also admit that I watched the developer's video of the segment, gave me the idea to just stay at the top. XD
Haha, yeah. When you get to that point, you need all the help you can get. I didn't even know you could kill those spiders in the top right until I watched him do it.

At the third part where you go glowy, I was like "Fuck nooooooo" until I realized you couldn't lose anyway.

Yeah, prior to that while watching the cutscene all I could think of was "Game, please let me save, PLEASE" lol. Was worried when it threw me into the third part of the fight, but I soon realized I couldn't lose there.

Well, overall I think it was a pretty good game. The second half was definitely much better than the first, and towards the end it really became epic. The tower was probably my favorite dungeon in the game, despite having no battles or anything.

Also found it interesting how towards the second half, it practically removed random battles outside of the world map and final dungeon. It almost started to feel more like an adventure/puzzle game, rather than an RPG.
Help, stuck in the Sacred Library. I Activate the 2nd Pillar but the door closes before I can get out and won't open without the torch being lit
I really enjoyed this game besides the wonky translation and the impossible Dark Knight fight.

I really would like to see the ending, but it's just too difficult.
You can do it. It just takes perseverance. Give it all you've got, then take a break. Come back later or the next day and give it another go. It's all about getting the rhythm down.

And then watch the video for tips on how to beat the next (and last) part x3
I tried to save game, but i couldnt do it in the beginning. I've died for the 8 skeletons... Really??
Hello!

For the Black knight i uploaded a video on my Youtube chanel, you can see it on how to kill it, also, for the next stage

The final part is more difficult, just by one reason, the "satisfying moment" and you will feel it, at the third scenario when you beat the black night and the "escape" and killing the spiders and you confront at last... the final battle.... :)

You can save in all world maps, and in the beggining, lvl up to max lvl 7, the battle against the skeletons will be far more easy

Thanks for palying!
