Alright, so after lots and lots of deliberation, I updated the demo with what I've got now. Now, you will be able to leave Purgatory, return to Havem, and meet Myra, the last of the three party members!
A lot has changed in the nine years that she and Zero have been apart. How will she act? What will Zero do when the two finally meet? Download the new demo and find out.

This demo is more than just a slight continuation of the story. And frankly, there's not a lot of extra stuff to do now. However, this update is important for some reasons. If you are new to the game and playing if for the first time, then the following two paragraphs will mean nothing to you.

Because Myra is capable of crafting, I needed to add in some crafting materials. The problem is, that I had to add in some new scripts and some notetags to items that weren't there originally. So if you tried to craft items with your current save file, the game will crash. Therefore, you will have to start over on a new game to get these benefits. HOWEVER, you do not have to do it right away. Myra can only craft items in Purgatory in camp, and since the second Stratum is not made yet, even your old save file will work. If you're dying to meet Myra again and you can't wait, then you can continue at your old save and play up to that point. But when the next part comes out, you will have to start over again in order to craft.

But I'm not gonna make you start over again without some kind of benefit, huh? I'm not mean like that. I've scattered a few materials in the first Stratum in Purgatory for you to hunt down. Something to give you a little head start when you do get Myra in the party. In addition, all enemies in Purgatory now have a slight chance of dropping some materials. It's very slight, however, so I wouldn't try to farm them. But it's there.

Some changes that were made in Haven:
- The Pub is now open. The bar owner is there to tell you certain rumors that have been circulating around Haven. Maybe you might learn something if you listen to her long enough. The pub is also accessible from the start of the game, so you can go straight to the owner if you want.

- I've made an effort to give NPCs different things to say every time you complete a stratum in Purgatory. I didn't get to everyone, but it's there. I've tried to make some NPCs have unique actor sprites because they all have their own stories. It's not vital that you pay attention to them, but for those that like to have a deep back story to games, it's there.

- I'm doing a little experiment when it comes to examining certain places. I've implemented a system that has a random party member react to the same thing every time. An example would be the well just outside of the pub. If you check it, one of the three party members will react to it at random. Check it out and tell me if that's something worth continuing.

- There was a spot you couldn't go to in Haven. But after you beat the Stratum, you have the tools needed to go. What could possibly be there?

I love the new title screen, and the character moments in this part were fantastic ^_^

I'll get a little more in-depth (and slightly spoilery) under the hide tag here:

-The character interactions were pure gold in this part. From Zero freezing when seeing Myra again, to Myra's slip back into her childhood speech, to Isaac saying they should take her along even as he's still sprawled on the ground from her punch ^_^ Zero being all happy to see her but still trying to keep her identity a secret is adorable, too!

-I found a recipe in the dark house. Is it supposed to show up as an item? Or is Myra just able to make a new thing just from collecting it?

-The next day, after Myra joining you officially, you can return to the bar and talk the bartender and the scene from the day before will play out again.

In closing, this mini-update is great and I'm really looking forward to the next part of the game ^_^

Holy crap, that's not good. But I have to go to work right now. I'll fix that when I get home tonight!

As for the recipe, it will show up in your Key Items section. As long as you have it, you will be able to craft.
It was nice indeed. The only negative thing I can say is that I wanted to keep playing. Curse you!!

Alright, I've updated the demo so it fixes the glitch that unity pointed out. Thank you for finding it! Serves me right for not sending it to my official tester before release!
Also, about the recipes, I thought they would show up in the Key Items spot on the inventory, but apparently, they don't when you're on your current file. But when I tested it, after starting a new game, the recipes DO show up in your inventory.

Yeah. This is why I sent this update for you guys. Since the next segment is going to take awhile, you're free to start a new game whenever you want before then.

I also fixed a bug where, in the afternoon when everything is tinted, leaving the guild doesn't re-tint the screen.

Yikes. While working today, I saw that some of the materials were labeled incorrectly. This would cause some materials to show up under equipment and will be useless.

I've updated the demo (again) with the fix. You only need to download this new demo when you start a new game.
