Note: This game is a sequel to Incitement. There is no necessity to play the first game, since this game follows its own plot and also recaps on the key past events in a short scene at the start. However, if you have played at least a small portion of the first game, then it will help you to be more familiar with the setting and the major characters.

General features:

• A huge sci-fi setting. Visit locations such as futuristic cities, remote labs, a rebel underworld, an enormous town-sized factory, and many others. Also a chance to re-visit some locations from the first game.
• Approximate length - 6-10 hours (depending on the player's pace and amount of optional content done)
• 7 playable characters: a few from the first game and also some new faces.
• A gripping story that’s full of twists and dramatic action scenes.
• 2 difficulty modes: Normal and Challenging. Normal difficulty is streamlined so that most people would be able to complete the game. Challenging difficulty gives bosses a small stat boost and allows most enemies to utilise hidden, more lethal abilities.
• The game uses a combination of evented and random encounters: evented encounters tend to happen during key action scenes, random encounters during all other times.
• An epic soundtrack to give the game a more cinematic feel. A lot of the music tracks have been bought or commissioned specifically for the game.
• Digital manual included in PDF format.

The game has been fully released as v1.0!

Story:
Six cycles (years) have passed since the events of the first game. A dreadful rebellion and a government conspiracy are now things of the past and everybody moved on with their lives. However, a new conflict is about to arise - a conflict that shall reunite old friends, bring back forgotten problems of the past, and threaten that what took so long to build.

Being rather new in the Sophorian society, Adrial decided to start a new life. He signed up for a booster enhancement program that would help turn him into a trooper in the Sophorian army. However, merely a week later, a group of strange-looking soldiers attack the lab he was at. After being almost captured by the enemy, he teams up with a lab assistant, Eryn, and together they scarcely escape the mayhem.

However, the attack on the lab was only a beginning of a grisly set of events that would once again bring forth devastation to the world. Who was responsible for this attack and what was their motive? Who were those soldiers and why were they only after certain individuals? It is now up to you to build a team of trustworthy allies and to expose the malevolent plot before it’s too late.

Looks very interesting. I'll keep an eye on this game while I'm still playing
the first one.
Thank you Macblo. I hope you enjoy the first game and do let me know if you get stuck.
Thanks man. Really appreciate the support. :)

I don't have a growth mindset...yet.

The screenshots look great.
Thank you. I'll try to upload some more soon.
Finished the demo! It's a very cool game, I really liked the feel of it. And I never thought of using lower level maps as parallaxes, that was neat :D Also, maybe it's just me, but the game was a little bit too easy, I never had a party member get in danger of getting KO'd for the entire demo :v Otherwise it was fun to play, looking forward to the next/final version :)
Thank you for the demo feedback, AtlasAtrium. Glad you've enjoyed it. Yeah, perhaps it is a bit on the easy side at the moment. I'll keep that in mind, but it should start to get harder gradually in latter parts, especially on the challenging mode.

my thoughts: I liked variety and usefulness of skills but didn't like that some character were way more useful than others (anku, darmek, sarlene or telran and hero, most likely because of their powerful group attack) if the difficulty was higher other member become more useful (just don't increase difficulty too much or the situation would be reversed). also in the end I only used hero for damage dealing (feeding him all the stats make him damage dealer) the other 3 used enforce and strength and some back up skills and the party become irrelevant.

In the whole game I didn't buy a single armor or weapon since I could find all of them later I used all of my money for composite booster (naturally).

Conclusion it was a good game thanks. the only complain I have is difficulty even on challenging difficulty there was almost no challenge.

And one bug (minor), in hostage mission in rooms where there is a mirror and bathroom sink your can go right through them. (should I say collision bug? I am sorry my English is not good.)
Thanks Meisam. That's funny. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on party members. I had some people tell me they didn't find Anku and Darmek that useful. So you think the main character is a bit too powerful? Or maybe I should just increase the price of composite boosters?

I am glad to hear you liked the game overall though. Thanks for your feedback. :)

LOL, that's quite interesting, Anku have 2 absolute damage (leach and wormhole) 3 group attack 1 for machines (plasma) and one for living (burn) and his main weapon deal plasma damage (it's damage is low) in the begining it does not have much to offer but when he level up he become quite powerful.

Darmek have a powerful group attack (in the beginning it's useful) and high HP (in the end he can survive to use enforce and strength for hero) and some elemental elemental attacks. to be honest I only used him for enforce and strength buff

Problem with difficulty is that weakness does not do much extra damage, resistance does not really do much either. and burn, freeze etc don't do much when you can inflict far more damage in the next turn (20000 * %5 = 1000 my hero do 3*1000 damage to all enemies) so I didn't bother with status, specially when the chance is quite low.

If you want to make the game more difficult don't decrease chance of being powerful (I had a lot of fun making the main so much powerful) but increase enemy power by increasing their damage (not health) so the player actually fear of losing.

I suggest you to work on resistance and weakness people like exploiting AI ;) the concept is there but does not work very well also targeting and hate system (if you increase the difficulty) can be very useful. Anku, Darmek and sarlene can become quite a good tanks

Another compliment is for the atmosphere I really liked it, the hacking mini game was fun (most of time I don't like mini games)
Thanks for the suggestions, man. This helps a lot to see player's perspective. I'll definitely take them all on board for my next project and I'll see where possible I'll make some changes to this one too (without causing it to feel out of balance). Trouble is, balancing difficulty is hard, because every player is different. I had some players find some boss fights hard even on normal, and then there are other players who want a lot of challenge. Hehe.

In regard to burns, they actually have some additional effects and not just slip damage every turn. Fire burn for example reduces enemy's Def slightly, Frostbite decreases Agi slightly, etc.

No problem, well I am one of those old RPG player from wizardry so what I think about challenge is very different ;).

I am not trying to argue but want to tell you what I think, it's about risk and reward when there is 50% (even less on bosses) chance of inflicting burn I would rather use a more damaging skills (even if inflicting burn would benefit me more in log run) Player usually does not try to solve the problem mathematically except if their life depends on it. So unless I feel boss would kill me without blind I would not waste my time to cast blind on him, or If it's very crucial that I act before the boss I wouldn't go out of my way to freeze him.

But the fact that you provided two difficulty shows that you care a lot for player so I greatly appreciate that.

For changes I suggest to test it on arena boss :P, it's optional so it can't cause too much problem :).
Oh another small bug, arena boss didn't give me the composite booster
Ah awesome. So you're a hardcore RPG player. And yeah, I do very much see what you mean about low chances of inflicting the states. I had another player mention that as well, so this is something I'm going to keep in mind in the next project for sure. I guess most players prefer certainty when using skills rather than chances and probability.

Oh and in regard to arena boss reward, the quest log lists all the rewards you get during the arena. Composite booster is a reward for doing the creatures course, the helmet is a reward for machines course, and then Revitaliser for the boss itself. :)
Just finished this game. I had an absolute blast with it. I love how much this reminded me of the Mass Effect games, with it being so straightfoward, with a gigantic sense of urgency to just keep going and accomplish things, and just keep working towards the end goal. And...I don't know, it's just that this is something that I wish that I could get this from more turn based rpgs, and I'm not sure if I have gotten this from one on this level before.

I don't know what else to say other than thank you so much for making this.
Hi MorteTorment. Thanks so much for your kind words. It's really great to hear you've enjoyed the game as a whole. I will definitely be making more games in this series as time goes on. :)
