General

Q:What are the game controls?
A: Use the Arrow keys to walk. Hold down Shift to run.
Press Z, Enter, or Spacebar to confirm, or to interact w/ objects/people.
Press Esc or X to cancel, or to bring up the Party Menu.
To scroll between character menus, use PageUp/PageDown.
Use Alt + Enter to change the size of the screen.

Q:Do all my characters gain EXP even if they aren't in the main party?
A:Yes.

Monsters

Q: Why can't I find my monster? How do I add it to the party?
A: When a monster joins your party, bring up the Party Menu and choose Formation. Monsters automatically appear below the four slots that make up the main party. You can re-arrange the formation from there.

Q: Why did my monster lose HP when it wasn't in battle?
A: HP doesn't refill to max automatically when a level-up occurs. Also, some traps can lower the HP of the party outside of battle, including your pet monsters.

Q: Can more than one monster be bonded to the same party member?
A: Yes.

Q: Do monsters lose skills when they bond with a different party member?
A: Yes. They will forget the old skill and learn a different skill when they bond with someone else. But this only pertains to "bonding" skills. All monsters have other skills that don't involve bonding, and that never change.
