Thank you so much for taking a nice thorough look at the game! I really, really appreciate the feedback, and I'm thrilled that you actually had Fun while playing it!

Okay! Issues.

Extra spaces between words.
-- Those spaces between the words happened because the text is Justified. It's supposed to all line up on the Right as well as the Left, so to make the words line up on the Right: extra space. To make matters worse, it apparently Hates Italics and likes to add more space after Italicized words. (Face-palm.)

The weirdly archaic sentences.
-- Copy-pasted directly from the Fairy Tale this story comes from, mostly. That was so that the reader would know when my story was actually following the original. I decided to take it one step further and make it follow the original Verbatim. ♥

The Random Murders & Bloodshed.
-- People dropping like flies, and being chopped into bits then suddenly coming back to life, is Traditional for Russian fairy tales, Seriously. In fact, Ivan's murder by his brother is part of the original tale.

Template characters.
-- Just so you know, this was my very first attempt at actually Drawing my own characters, AND my first attempt at animating them. Seriously. However, it took so long to make them, (a full two months just to make One male & One female template,) I just worked with what I already had. And the Tsars? Yes, I totally cheated -- then lamp-shaded the whole affair.

I'm glad you liked the Maze. The coding for that puppy was a BEAR. Mainly because it was my first attempt at making something like that.

I'm also glad you liked my wolf, even if he wasn't fierce enough for that one scene. Just so you know, the wolf and the horses were indeed all hand-drawn. I can draw, it just doesn't translate well when you use a track-ball mouse.

Background Issues.
-- All of the backgrounds were filtered, even the ones that came from paintings. Unfortunately, a few of the Palace backgrounds didn't come out terrifically well because the original images were either very poor quality, or just too Busy. There were Worse, much worse, believe me.

The main problem with using photos for backgrounds is Perspective, or rather the location of the Horizon line. In order for it to look right against a character image, that line needs to be Chest level. (Watch a movie, and look for the horizon line -- it's at the actor's Heart.) Unfortunately, few photographers put that line where I need it to be. Far too many put the camera at Eye level instead, or worse, angle the camera Down. This narrows my options drastically.

Well that, and there just aren't that many images of the only medieval palace in Russia. :)

Thank you again for taking such a close look at Prince Ivan. Despite wincing on occasion, I thoroughly enjoyed your review. Your comments were actually Helpful, and I was impressed by your concerted effort to avoid spoilers.

Would you consider being my test-player when I make another game?
Glad to hear.

Not privately.
I limited myself to public feedback videos on this site to save time for personal projects. I'm enjoying your Visual Novels, so I'll probably keep an eye out for them when they're released.

Nice mouse lineart. Hope you get a tablet one day~

I have one. I just haven't been able to make the jump from pencil to pen mouse -- yet. My drawings come out seriously awful. I'm told it's simply a matter of practice, just like with a normal pencil.
