Luxaren Allure Final Boss Form (The LONGEST Boss fight ever) (Normal Difficulty)

FINALLY. Third time's the charm.

The original audio got corrupted, so I had to make do with adding the game soundtracks for this recording. I tried the boss fight again with a better recording, but it ended in defeat...So this will do for now.

That being said, advanced merry Christmas unity! I heard you weren't feeling well recently so I hope you're feeling well now :)

Thanks for this, eplipswich, and sorry for the frustration. I am unfortunately still sick but I'm doing my best to hang in there. Merry Christmas to you, too ^_^
So basically the final boss battle in this game is comparable to the one in Dalruan: World of Magic. A game that was an entry in the 2014 Indie Game Maker Contest.

At least in terms of time to defeat. Since, it took me roughly 23 minutes to bring down the final boss in that game. An affair that was rather frustrating in my opinion since the bosses wasn't so much difficulty as meaty.

Well, difficulty has been lowered since the video was posted.

I'd be very interested to hear your opinion on LA's final boss, when you get there, Sacred. ^_^

While I think I may have made some missteps in that area, I think I learned a lot from it. Making a last boss who gives the right amount of challenge but doesn't overstay their welcome is pretty difficult, IMO.

Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

I guess I'm weird then, as I didn't find the final boss to be overly long at all. I was playing on Normal when I was testing it, and I felt the length was just fine. It felt just like a, well, FINAL boss to me, if that makes any sense.

It was the secret boss that took a long time, but at no point did it feel boring, since it never felt like a Press Space to Win fight.
I suppose this response is a bit slow, but the main reason the Dalruan: World of Magic fight was so dull wasn't just because of its length but because it was a rather repetitive fight where you'd repeat the same tactics over and over and over again until the boss finally went down.

Though, I may try my hand at figuring out an approach to take down the final boss in less time then eplipswich.

And, I have a good idea on how to do that already.

Good luck! This is only the final form of the final boss, not counting his 1st 2 forms :p
Well, I'll take that as a challenge so consider it accepted.
