Shindra Duel Adventures is an RPG that plays with more then 50 monster cards to battle, to trade and to train with for your perfect team. Each card has it's own movesets, weakness, levelspeed and status. There are different types that are effective against other types and each card has it's own specialty.

You are a kid who is just gonna get started with Shindra Duel. Make yourself to the top and discover a legendary Shindra Duel card. Step into a huge city full of characters and enemies.

There are three colors of Shindra Duel cards. Grey cards are the normal cards, the red cards are rare and yellow cards are the legendary cards.

- Accept side-quests to earn extra money, get new items or discover secrets.

- Battle against every character you meet and check their status, every character has different cards.

- Create your own character by gender, skin color, hair color and shirt color. Buy new shirts on markets.

- Upload your own team on the L.J. Ware website so other people can battle against your team on the EOC mode.

- Including L.J. Ware Mode for more gameplay. Receive passwords for cards or new side-quests.

- Solve puzzles through your adventure.
- Trade against other characters for new cards.
- Visit the Event Park for extra features.
- You can merge two cards into a new card with Fusion Center.

Check out the blog for more details about these features.

There is of course a lot to battle with your cards but there is a complete story to follow. Please note that this story is child-friendly, don't expect a deep storyline. It's a fun story to follow and at the end, there is a plot that you don't expect.

You can use keys from your keyboard to open certain menu's.

There is more than just battles in this game. You can solve side-quests that are not always related with the battles and there are some puzzles to solve while following the story.

This is presented as a card game, but it play very much like a pokemon game. Cards level up and learn moves at fixed levels like pokemon. There is a team rocket-like organization running around and your primary goal is to defeat them. The game length is about 1/3 the length of an actual pokemon game, with about 3 towns. That said, there's alot of features and cool stuff in here. Try it if you are looking for something that looks like RTP but plays like pokemon. (no 1v1 battles though)

strats
I picked blob as starter, but traded it away like an idiot. My final party ended up being chimera (fire is a very good element that alot of enemies are weak to, also has strong heals), ice lady (good mix of ice spells, buffs, and attacks), ogre (slow, but high attack damage after buffs), and god dude (heals, revive, debuff, confusion). I didnt have to actually use revive at any point but it's good to have. The game is about as easy as a pokemon game anyway, so there wasn't anything too intense.

BUG: At event park when i talked to the EOC man, the scripted main menu got partially stuck on the screen after i backed out of the EOC there, disabling all my menus and turning my character invisible. I could still move around the map for some reason.

Hi bicfarmer! Thank you so much for playing my first game. I will look into the bug as soon as possible. That shouldn't be happening. The difficulty was pretty hard to make. If you play it the right way and trade your cards with NPC's or fuse your cards, you can get a pretty good team.

There are some harder challenges in the game. (Some are locked behind passwords.) One you can unlock by beating my second game complete Eling: First Dimension.

You don't say anything about the good things and you don't give any good feedback.

not true i complimented your scripting/triggering as it was flawless and quite detailed.everything else i would be lying if i said otherwise.

if you just want to blow your time on ? then this is for you.
I have to say, I agree with some points. But I think you just want to be negative than just giving me feedback. I released this game almost a year ago. As long as some people have fun with it, than I'm happy with this project.

However I don't take a lot of these critics too serious if someone is only being negative. You don't say anything about the good things and you don't give any good feedback. And if I could give you some advice, don't be so negative. If you did this on a project I just released, I would not make another game which makes the RPG Maker community only smaller. Everyone should accept advice from another but messages that are only negative won't help anyone.

I want to use every feedback I get for future games but your message didn't help me at all and it didn't make me happy either. ;) Shindra Duel Adventures isn't the best game ever but I think it's an enjoyable experience for everyone, not just the RPG gamer.

intros long and terrible

following your friend is tedious and annoying as hell!

cant use menu!?

no quick access to a save location!?

save after that!? terrible!

only 4 save slots!?

its supposed to be a card game but monsters have levels and its a normal battle setup.
worse theres to many skills! should limit the skills to...4-6 max per card

What is this EOC thing??? rpg maker does not support online play!
^oh you just upload your team never mind. still should not say vs other players

i hate permanent stat boost items especially when sold :/

single line pathways with wandering npcs...

these thief's :3 reminds me of pokemon :D

Dardans "Wave" skill is under powered despite what the description says darkness does much more damage

dam npcs and there plot keys...always in places its not possible to be in!

why is the school key there? in fact it was there before this even began!

sucks you only see your cards pictures when a battle is starting :(

i was fine with the arrows in the underground passage but to west area is a bit annoying

little to no way to tell where you currently are (name of area)

no way to go to title menu and f12 crashes game >.>

finding the workers gloves is such a pain in the ass!

ok after you take the boat theres more of those dam arrows...i have had enough :/

General

harsh or not...this felt like a utter waste of time. i went into this with the idea of cards...but instead it was pretty much a storyless rpg with alot of "characters" to do battle with.
the grammar needs some work here and there. but the triggers were flawless.
the balancing needs to be reworked. a card being rare or legendary does not give me the feel it means much with the current system.

Overall
if you want a card game with the rpg maker engine go look up one piece triple duels 2
or Yugioh X. whether you like them or not is a different matter but at least it is a more proper style of game play for a card game.

if you just want to blow your time on ? then this is for you.

So how would you get the GOLDEN version of this game if the GOLDEN version is still available? Also I subscribed since this game looks very interesting (also I didn't have an account at the time I found this game but you convinced me to create an account to subscribe)

I'm honored to be your decision to make an account. The GOLDEN version isn't available at this moment but sometimes when there is something special going on (like the release of one of my new games) the GOLDEN version will be available for a short time. I created the GOLDEN version to encourage players to play more of my games because you sometimes will receive passwords from newer games that can be used in older games thanks to L.J. Ware Mode. Being subscribed on my games is always a good idea to receive the latest L.J. Ware Mode passwords. If you missed any password, make sure to check older blog entries on this page.

I'm happy to know that people are still playing my game, even if it has default graphics. :) Thank you for that!

Thank you! But by the way, I already found the girl in Selender City.

P.S. : The fact that you can repeat the final battle of the main story, is a bug or is there on propose?

I did that on purpose so you can always train your cards. ;)

Well, it took me a while, but I finished the main story! And I also beat the guest in my house (which when I found him, it was my excact double!). I just created my EOC profile, and now I'm looking for the Legendary Card that I didn't faced as a final boss. And trust me, I WILL find it! Because in this moment, I'm so awesome that I feel that I'm going to find that card in no time!

P.S. : ...But could you give me a clue on how to unlock the final area? (For example, I find numbers in mundane objects, but I don't know how they're useful...)

Well, then I've got some bad news. The other legendary card is only available with L.J. Ware Mode. There is a purple room in the cave where a girl will battle you with that card and gives it to you but she will only appear after you fill in a password for L.J. Ware Mode. The password will be available on a certain point but I wanted to keep it a 'legend' for now. But there are more secrets without the need of getting passwords from a website. You found a clue with the numbers. There are 9 numbers in total and they make a password for L.J. Ware Mode. You need to begin with the first number near your house. Follow the path for the main story to get the right order. There are three red cards like the Red Flow and you will get one of them by doing that. The third red card is also available by looking for a girl in Selender City. She will be in a certain house but no one knows when she will be back. It's completely random.

Good luck! ;)

By the way, I will post a new L.J. Ware Mode password in a few hours.

P.S.S. : I came across another bug, by the way. Even after you gave the mittens to the clown in the Event Park, you can get the mittens a second time.

Thank you for finding this bug. I will post a new version later this day and I will send you an exclusive version to get rid of the mittens in your inventory by sending you a PM. ;)

It was nothing! Sadly, I can't download it now because my Internet is not working well (I'm writing this from my phone.), so I'll have to do it in another moment.

Speaking of bugs, I found a pair of lines of text in Thil Town that were in German, one when interacting with a closed door, and the other one was the dialogue of the captain once I beat Cas (I think that was his name...). For now these are the only ones I found, but you may want to check the rest of the traduction for more of these...

Anyways, I'm glad I was able to help! :D

Thank you for finding these texts. It was very hard to translate every single text but I was almost very sure that I translated everything. I will update the texts as soon as possible. (It isn't German, it's Dutch. xD)

Hey, I think I found an error here. The Power Drink (you know, the bottle with a skull) that you get by winning the King Battle at the arena, can be used as many times as you want, I guess you forgot to put the item as "Consumable". Despite the tentation, I only used it once to win the game in a fair way.

So I hope I had been of help! ;)
Thank you so much for report this bug. I have fixed it immediately. So you can download version 3.1.1 now. This link will explain how to transfer your data:
