Has anybody played the game?

Hey,
I'd really appreciate it, if those of you who have played the second demo version would rate the game. It would really help me for the full version...
Some feedback.

I've been meaning to: I missed the first demo but nabbed the second but haven't found the time to sit down and play it yet.
I just "finished" playing it today. I use quotes because I'm stuck at Sobek's Temple. Where's the 3rd Orb? I fell down the hole and explored the basement but can't find squat.
Anyway, it's pretty meaty for a mere demo, and a great game to boot.

*****Pros
Your custom graphics are fantastic. They would really give the game it's own identity if it weren't for that darn RTP system set. If I were you, I'd think about changing it as well as the standard sound effects to something more in line with the Ancient Egyptian theme.
Also, the battlers could use some animation of ANY kind. Even if it's just a one-frame shot of Re holding up his Scepter when he casts or a simplistic 3-frame Actraiser attack when Seth swings his Ankh. I got used to the non-activity though, so maybe it's not that critical.

Great use of dialogue bubbles, too :)

*****Cons
The battles are pretty uninspired, especially in the first area. Even though there's variety in the enemy types, they all die in the same number of hits, and deal roughly the same damage to the party. You could definitely use some more dynamic groupings. For example, think of how a battle with an Ogre and 5 Goblins would play out.

When setting up enemy formations in battles, players tend to expect "A", or the first on the list, to be the enemy closest to them, and then cascade backwards with top-to-bottom when they line up vertically. This is is just a minor aesthetic problem though.

And it gets a little grind'y at times. I don't mind grinding personally, since that's what I grew up with, but I'm just sayin' :p

*****Nitpicks
-Will there be a fourth party member? The in-battle portrait selection says no, but that 4th slot in the map menu is ominously empty.
-Double check the grammar in the opening prologue. There're a few mistakes in there.
-You didn't put the H in Pharoah. Is that for a reason similar to the Re instead of Ra thing?
-Isis' equipment upgrade menu would be more uniform with the other two if she had the Weapon/Armor choice too, and more aesthetically pleasing since you could fit all three armors into one window.
-When re-crossing the desert areas, instead of having a dialogue prompt for "Do you want to take a shortcut", why not make the group pass through normally if they hold a directional button, and have a Button prompt to enter like you do with D for party conversations.
-Solar "Erruption" is spelt wrong
-Re and Seth have several same'y attacks. Solar Storm, Solar Eruption, and Meteorstorm are functionally the same but with slightly different MP/damage. Likewise with Gate to Duat, Blackhole, and Dark Energy.

And lastly just a thought I had : early in the game, Re and Seth talk about fighting monsters to "train". I don't think Gods who literally fight every day would have to train, persay. How about rewriting it slightly so that defeated monsters are returned to the God realm in exchange for a portion of their God realm powers, or something along those lines?
Thanks for your feedback, Dyhalto.
I will see what of your cons and nitpicks I can change for the full version. :)

The missing "h" in Pharaoh is just a little grammar error.
The thing about Re:
It seems that "Re" is more common in German, while "Ra" is more common in English.
The same extends to "Apophis" / "Apep".

About your problem:
Leave the underground and go in the temple again. If you use the door in the north in the first room, there is a waterfall in front of a door. Now that you have activated the switch in the room above, the barrier is gone and you can pass through the door and get the last orb. :)

Edit: If you have problems finding the way out of the underground:
The exit is in the east area.
Ah, okay. Silly me, I thought the waterfall was the barrier so I always turned back immediately. Found the last orb now.
Nice, then you can finish the demo. :)
Oh, could you please tell me the mistakes in the opening prologue?
My native English proofreader has rewritten much of my original opening text, mainly to kind of tighten it.

PS:

Didn't know that it was THAT simple to change it.^^
hah! Upgraded Sobek's kilt kind of looks like a diaper x)
And oooh :O New equipment in Osiris' Temple after I get the mummy's key.

Oh, could you please tell me the mistakes in the opening prologue?

Sure.
After viewing it a second time, it isn't that bad. I just got confused by a couple of lines, then the scroll speed exacerbated it. Here's how I would change it, with my adjustments made in Bold.

---------------
Since the beginning of time,
Good has clashed with Evil.

In order to rise again as the mighty sun itself,
Re must undertake a dangerous quest; an ordeal
through the Duat which lasts 12 hours.

In the 7th hour, Chaos incarnate itself appears.
The great serpent known as Apophis
attempts to thwart Re's objective.

Since the beginning of time,
Apophis gets decapitated every night.

Since the beginning of time,
Apophis reincarnates and tries again.

But one day, Apophis broke this eternal loop
and went to Earth, to spread chaos aground.
---------------

The game could use a failsafe system for providing players with puzzle hints. Remember in Metal Gear Solid how the Colonel would say during the Psycho Mantis fight "Snake, plug Controller 1 into Controller port 2" after dying like 30 fucking times? I know this from experience ._. In rooms that have hidden switches for example, count the number of times the player enters/exits the room and have a 'D' prompt appear where someone suggests "Let's try checking the walls".

I forgot a nitpick : Seth's Super says "Seth won't be under control anymore" implying that he'll be in a Berserk-state, but he is controllable and even has new skills.

Thanks! I was always confused by the "land went" line, but my proofreader said it was alright. "And" does make more sense, though.

I will think about it. I first thought about to set a timer for about 15 seconds or so.

Oh, that is a leftover from the first demo, where Seth was indeed not controllable after usage of this skill.
