"Re-translation" in Progress!

So I was playing through this game recently, and I have to say... it's not as bad as I thought it was! That might be a horrible thing to say about this game that's garnered so many downloads (over 3000), but it's true! When I think back to this game, I don't remember anything really GOOD about it. Until I play it... and then discover that the graphics nor gameplay aren't really that bad at all, and it's actually quite addicting!

But then I get to the writing. Holy sweet mother of god. I may not be the best now, but I was SO MUCH WORSE back then that it is not even FUNNY!

Then I got this bright idea to do a "re-translation" or sorts. I know that's not what it should be called, but I'm going to call it that just because I can.

I'm going to go through the game, take every bit of dialogue, fix it up (a LOT), and then possibly release a better written version of the game. I'm also going to clear up a few of the plot points that I definitely did not do just way-back-when, and all sorts of good stuff like that.

Just thought I'd tell you. =P

I think we all feel that way about our own games. I've actually caught myself playing through the old 2007 versions of both Dawning of a Dragon's Valor and Redeeming Legacy them to completion and then some, feeling good about doing so on multiple occasions, too. I even took it a step further and hit lvl 99 on the main characters, bought the best equipment, and started buying the stat boosting items for the sake of maxing out stuff like HP on DoaDV. At least half of this feeling is pure self-created nostalgia.
i could help with the retranslation if you want.
