Yeah seriously. The RTP characters never looked so good. This was my most anticipated entry just because of this screenshot.

Thanks! It's unfortunate that I didn't get to use them more, since you only really see them in the opening sequence and the character selection screen. I originally planned to have cutscenes at several keypoints of the dungeon, esp. between main levels and at the start of boss levels, but those got cut so that I could hit the deadline. They'll be the first thing I add when I come to update this game following the contest judging!

I'd like to think that my recent work on improving the graphics of SL: Riot Grrrl is to thank for them looking good, but this style is actually really easy to work with :3
