CloseHi, may I know how are you able to achieve this? I am really curious about how you attain the walls instead of just vertical pop ups in Mode 7. Did you use a third party script or was this your own? Is it possible for you to share it?

It's nothing complicated like scripts or anything like that. It's just a parallax background that I made, so it's not like the perspective changes as you move.

Lookin' good! The use of parallax in this shot is reminding me of the good ol' pre-rendered-background PS1 days! Which is good news because that tended to go hand in hand with horror!

Well, I guess. But making realistic looking character sprites with only 3 movement frames looks stupid too, which is why I made it "basic" looking.
I also have to admit, I'm better at making enviroments than characters.
haha I guess I set you up for that one! I'll get you for that one after, man. I guess you reap what you sow. Sometimes you make me so miserere. This game is so scary it makes my skin walk. Bloody good screenshot, very rusty, like a house of horror. Not sure about those dimensions, better get me rula out and measure it. Cute little visitor tho! Looking at this sea world makes me want to say that someone named Zug spits on it.
