So, I'm now part of the way through the 10th chapter, and things are moving fairly well. The 9th was another one of those 'difficult to write' parts, but the intended effect is there.

As it continues to eat up most of my time, not to mention all the job hunting I've been doing, Mafiosi 2 writing will continue to slug along. However, that doesn't mean I'm not making any progress on it. I wrote a good 200 lines in the last couple days alone, so I'm definitely trying my best to make it a priority.

Excuses aside, things are turning out pretty well in the actual writing itself. The chapter I'm on right now will prove to be one of the most exciting, and will throw a bunch of readers for a loop in the end. After that, there are only 2 more chapters and then I'll post the second release. I believe at that point, being halfway through the entire novel, I'll be at around 65,000 words, which is roughly how long the first novel was in its entirety. Pretty exciting to me, knowing that I'm right on track to making it twice as long overall.
