It's time for me to quit worrying about what others thinnk, or may think, and do what I want with the story

I thought about it, and been thinking about. I have been trying to hard to make this good that I am not doing what I want with the story without worrying what others think. It's time for to put my doubts aside, and just do whatever heck I want with the story. I don't care what anyone will think any more. It's my game, my story. However I now believe that I have learned from my mistakes. Who cares if someone thinks I didn't the story right. It's only the fact that I like what I want to do with it. I am not saying I won't fix things, or listen to advice, but screw the critics on what I want to do with the story. It's my ideas. I do what I want with my game just like everyone else does. There is no right, or wrong here. I need to stop worrying what others might think, or will think. I know that's a bit harsh, perhaps mean of me to say, but I no longer care what anyone thinks. I am doing what I always wanted to do with this game. I am still open to fixing things, and taking advice. It's time for me just do what I want with the game. I don't know when it'll be finished because my manga I want to self publish is nearly almost complete. So I cannot give an estimate on this, but I am working on it.

As a wise man once said, "make the game you want to see in this world." I believe a lot of developers out there are held back from creating the games they want because they fear their stories will be ridiculed for being too cliche. I say do whatever you want. Your game will have a much better chance of being completed if you enjoy working on it. At the end of the day, for me at least, seeing your vision become a reality is the most rewarding experience rpg maker can offer.

When you share that vision with others, some will like it, others won't, but it's important not to compromise your game to the point that it becomes unrecognizable from what you wanted to create at the start. This rant has been brought to you by WheelmanZero. Thank you.
Good idea. The majority of the world is mediocre and not worth listening to anyway.
That's not to say you're infallible and won't produce junk, but you won't know what works and what doesn't unless you try, and if you fail, you'll learn and grow from it. Contrast that to most people who just don't try anything to begin with, but boy do they have an opinion.
Listening to criticism is important, but letting the fans call the shots is a one-way ticket to ending up with a product that is no longer yours.
Thank you guys. I appreciate your comments a lot. I just want to make a game I enjoy making. :)
