Inspired by games like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder Silverest is a first person Dungeon Crawl. There are no villages, NPC's or shops. Just you and the dungeon.
Be careful with your supplies of food and water and defeat the evil Magelord Daramus in order to escape the dungeon with your lives.

You will have skills at your disposal to craft new weapons and armor and brew potions.
The game is being programmed in the RPGToolkit and was actually started 3 years ago with a team of three, but due to personal differences the team split up and now I've restarted the project on my own.

Cool custom art! How close are you to releasing a playable version?
I hope to release a playable demo soon. I have most of the systems working that are needed for playing the game(fighting, enemy ai, changing floor ect)
The menu system is still not working and curing is still not working(so you eventually die :P )
I'm thinking of just doing the first 2 floors for the demo.
Sounds good, looking forward to see how crafting works in a game like this -- I take it that monsters/items don't respawn like in many EOTB style games, so you essentially have to try to make best of what finite supplies there are/RNG loot throws at you?
oh cool. These first-person-maze style RPGs always intrigued me (even though i never ever got far in any ones I played). Good luck with this!
Oh this reminds me of the good ol' Wizardry or the early D&D games...
I have some positive feeling about this...
I'll keep an eye on it ;)

Yep Im going for that feel(Im not using 3D, Im using the old flip3D effect of layering images to increase the old style effect)
I should have a short demo out before the end of may so you will get a chance to try it out. Hopefully it will live up to the good feelings ;)
Looking at the screenshots of those inventory screens, there's only strength/defense/mana displayed. Are those the only stats in the game beside HP/MP? I reckon the gameplay might get fairly one-dimensional without things like agility/luck/hit/dodge/evasion/magic power etc affecting things.
I definetly hope so! I'd love to give some suggestions or feedback on this one, so if you need any assistance (like a demo or beta player) I'll gladly offer myself for this kind of purpose ;)
Those are the only stats Ive decided on(I do want more, Im just undecided on what they will be) They will probably be the only stats in the demo.

I look forward to getting some feedback from you
