Hello everyone,
does everybody here like SPACE FUNERAL? Here's a thing that's kinda similar but hopefully not fraudulently so. Before I proceed, I really want to emphasize, if it wasn't for Space Funeral, Steel Western definitely wouldn't exist.
Anyway, demo should be available for download now. I called it "Demo 1" (which, in hindsight, I shouldn't have done), but it's very probably gonna be the only demo of the game. You will have to restart once the full game's released, so keep that in mind before you decide to waste about 45 minutes of your time (much more if you explore all the things). Thanks for playing if you do.

yeah you almost didnt need to tell me this is lifted from space funeral at least creatively. looking at this though it reminds me why not just anyone can make space funeral there's a very unique spark behind that.

this is still really good from what i played so far though. i feel closer to this mainly because im getting the old west nostalgia taking over mid 1900s cinema and mannerisms and historical details that have been distorted by primitive set design and plain ol white man colonialism still around even today. also feeling like clint eastwood has finally taken over john wayne when 2000 hit and stuff like tarantino's influence from thegoodthebadandtheugly taking over. i watch a lot of spaghetti westerns so sorry if this post is just a big fart. it just made me reflect on old west pop culture for a moment and the whole meta of it.

i really like the world map for some reason
I wanted to make it feel like a Western made by aliens and/or robots. All the elements are there, but they're wrong, and there's so much random noise to it. It's kinda like Eastern media doing Western-themed stuff (e.g. Wild Arms).
I did see some Spaghetti Westerns though. When I "designed" the main character, I had Clint Eastwood and Mega Man in mind.

The world map's a product of me wanting a world map for the game but really not wanting to draw tiles for a world map.
Space Funeral is one of my all time faves on RPG Maker. It was a unique experience. So far this captures the feel, and I enjoyed the demo. The country music playing in the background adds an added effect.
