What will you decide to do?

There's no text in-game.

Your computer probably doesn't support the font. The right font is the in Fonts folder: it's FTLTLT. Double click the font and install it on your computer to get the text into the game.
I started playing and was really enoying it until Casia started dying while walking out of nowhere. I figured it's hunger or thirst but there is no indication of the current state of any of these two whatsoever. If there is, I couldn't find it.
Is this intentional? Do I just have to guess when she's hungry or thirsty?

The reason indeed is hunger and thirst, so you need to visit a restaurant. The information not showing is an unfortunate bug. If you visit a restaurant every once in a while, you should be fine.

Open world games are always a bit of fun, so I'm looking to play this, but if hunger/thirst is a dynamic and you have no way of judging it it becomes problematic from a player's perspective.

There is an obvious HUD included in all the game images, incorporating a vitality bar shouldn't be difficult. Dependant on whose script you are using, I know ForeverZer0's H/T script for example already includes a HUD.

The game actually uses ForeverZer0's version of the script. The fact that there is no indication of hunger and thirst is a glitch and I don't know why it's there. It did work originally, but maybe there's an incompatibility issue with another script, I'm not sure.
So... Is the game truly completed, or is it still just a demo like the EXE says? Or does demo mean that the game has some bugs and glitches, but is completed? Anyway, I hope you can figure these problems out because it looks like it could be a fun game.
Hmm so the thirst and hunger were a glitch after all lukily i stuffed my main character and viviane the desert girl regularly with food and booze.

However i'm having a hard time recruting new characters of the game infact the desert girl is the only one i managed to recruit so far.

I found this guy in the snake forest but he wouldn't join unless i defeated some xoatzelcoath snake monster of some sorts. I couldn't find it, where is that thing anayway? I also couldn't find the evil three which is supposed to be there somewhere as i understood it.

Anyway i feel i forgot to do ceratin things so that i could not recruit some more characters. By the way i found a weird dude with a fairy at a bridge who told me they could not join because my level was too low??? Which i find disturbing since casia is beefed up to level 28! and the desert girl at 26 i think.

So in essence my question is very simple how to recruit other party members where do i have to go or what action do i have to undertake to recruit some more characters.

By the way i defeated the cobolds but was too late as all the desert people died out there and defeated some weirdo lion dude further up in the game who gave me the key to the canyons or something like that. Is there someone to recruit up in those canyons?

Hmm, that's weird, and I imagine annoying for you. Given there is already a HUD in-game it might be a compatibility issue between the two. What Date/Time HUD script are you using? Perhaps swapping the order of the scripts may fix it. If not, then some kind of warning system telling the player that they need to eat/drink would be advisable.

I'm going to download and give this a go, either way, but a fix for this would make it a more user-friendly game.

Edit OK I just downloaded this and it's got two versions of the game, an XP and a VXAce. Which explains why the download is so large, you've got the game in twice, including all the music/graphics. You've listed the XP on this game-page as the engine which it is since the VXA game doesn't work, but you may want to delete to reduce your size by half.

It is completed, and it basically doesn't have any other major glitches than the hunger/thirst system not indicating when the characters are hungry.

There are many possible recruits, some are harder to get than others. For most you need to complete some kind of a quest first. An easy character you haven't found is in the ruins of Toro city. Take a look in one of the houses. More people are possible to get by sailing to a different continent.

Yes, it's also possible to recruit someone beyond the canyon.

Thanks for pointing that out, it appears the download included an attempted Ace remake of the game which was definitely not supposed to be there. I have updated the download link, this time with the hunger script placed underneath the time system. Hopefully it works now, I would test it out but I am unable to at this point in time.

Ah, ok. Thanks for clarifying. :)
I managed to find a lot characters. But i'm a bit stuck in the game especially in hekine city where casia is banished from entering the city. after defeating count floralin i rescued sibel but upon returning to hekine city i found out that an imposter is taking her place after a fight with two guards i was unable to come back to the city.

How exactly can i sneak in? Is it via the sewer system? If so wher is the key to open that door?

Also there was one riddle i could not anwser about the murre fortress i asked to which continent where the refugees taken?

I almost forgot there is still one character i could not get to join it was some cat like girl i west aldi i think she needs to eat some birds but how can i catch or bring the birds. I couldn't find a way to raise chikens as i have only three chicks in the pen. But oddly they won't grow to addult chikens?

I also managed to obtain the proof of heriosm which aloowed me to enter that hero city!

Other than i'm advancing pretty wel in the game i wen't to haunted graveyard catsle and got myself beyond the dark place filled with dementor demons.
Yes, you need to use the sewers. The key is really hard to find. Hint: Look from the dark canyons with the Orcs and you may find the right place.

The chickens only grow when they are fed enough grains. Grains can be bought from the farmers in the farmhouse.

Found a small glitch if you go back to Murre guard house with Jesse in tow and don't hand him over there is a forced fight, you get an error message about a missing audio file I think it was walka1

Well i managed to finish the game! After defeating some devil with 500000 of hp i think and afterwards the beast that has been unlocked with a staggering one million of hp!!!!!!! Well actually it's more like 999999 HP lol.

At first i thought this must be joke that thing with one million HP but no no joke for those who wan't to finish the game you have to defeat it. Lukily i had that with in my team and the freeze ability could take out 50000 +/- per turn!

But still that last boss proved to be a challenge actually the one before it with 500000 was even more difficult to beat especially at the end.

Still i was left with an unsatisfactory feeling since i didn't complete all the side quests. I managed to find find the key to the sewers unlocked the water god and wind god ability for casia found the garuda meat to unlock cat like character.

But what about the cobold desipher problem? I feel like i have to find a cobold to recruit but i have no idea where to find it??? Plus i have the thunder and earth ring which i haven't been able to find a use to.

And what about those strange desert creatures there is a town full of them but casia systematically says we have to leave them they look angry.

There is also a house in garlic town which is closed i haven't been able to find a way to open it.

Beyond the desert is a small village where a massacre took place the one that the goblins did when walking upon a tower there is a well to desend too and a strange place full of hellhounds after defeating them there is a gate but it's locked and i haven't been able to find it's key!

There is also the temol tower where is the key to open it?
At some point in the game barbara kidnaps the mayor i couldn't find a way to find her after escaping tyne and some other person discuss a way to free the mayor but nothing happens.

These are things i couldn't complete oh and naturally the cobold mine since a lock requires a cobold to read the instructins to find a four digit code.

I think the cobold might be the one that was left behind in toro city but there is no way to recruit it as it engages in a fight...

Hi, nice to hear you completed the game! As you noticed, only a handful of quests actually need to be completed to fight the boss. The point is to discover things for yourself and there are various sub-plots to finish, but it's hard to find the conclusions of some of them.

The Cobold deciphering indeed requires a Cobold character to join you. It's not the one in Toro City, but rather you can find him from the nearby desert after you've beaten Elf in the water cave.

You can enter the desert troll village after you've confronted Mette near Hero City and completed her side quest.

The rocky chimney in the massacre place can be accessed after dealing with Elf in the radioactive mines. So you need the Cobold first to complete the mine quest.

The rest of the subplots you mentioned have a similar solution: you need to find the evil characters somewhere to proceed with the plot. Sometimes you find them by accident while exploring, sometimes it's harder. The same with Temol tower, something needs to happen elsewhere first.

Congratulations for beating the final boss!
"The rocky chimney in the massacre place can be accessed after dealing with Elf in the radioactive mines. So you need the Cobold first to complete the mine quest."

As it happens i managed to recruit the cobold deciper the code move on until i stumbled on a door that needs a key i searched the whole place evehn that hut outside the mine but nothing i could find the key. Where is that key?

As for the trolls i tried to find the evil tree but nothing i searched the snake forest completely nothing no evil tree to be sighted? Is that that tree locate elsewhere?

I managed meanwhile to find barbara as she was hiding in that island where i initially found the nun. However she takes the mayor as hostage and get's away?
Tyne is asking the police in murre city but that's about it? I couldn't find her either after that.

I did manage to find the fire ring and unlocked the fire god sommon for casia.

By the way there is a chest in snake forrest that says the gate of heaven hold the key to unlocking that chest? Couldn't find a solution for that either.

I did unlock a chest using jana in the party in murre vicinity.

So i'm stuck again in the side quests. :-(

Chest in snake forest needs the angel in your party.

The 'evil' tree wanders around just north from the hero city entrance.

The key for the mine is dropped by someone you can't encounter until you meet the tree.

But i couldn't find a way to recuit that angel i have put the angel costume to casia but nothing happens the angel just stares with three points as text! Is it the angel in delta city pub were talking about?

"The 'evil' tree wanders around just north from the hero city entrance."

Does that mean that he is actually in the hero city itself somewhere or beyond the gates at the back of that city? If so how do enter that area because those gates are locked!
