Casia is a long open-world game where you take control of a girl named Casia. Casia has just turned 16, which means that she has achieved adulthood by the standards of her home town. Even as she sets out to live her newfound adult life and explore the world she lives in, a sinister plot is set into motion behind her back. The plan involves terrifying creatures and a powerful artifact which Casia's father died to protect. From this point onward, everything is up to you. Where will you go? Who will you meet? What will you decide to do?

after entering the palace from sewers, what must i do, for not fighting the soldiers?
Buy a queen costume from Murre Village or Garlic Island
How do I get into the ruined East Aldi?
Also, no matter how many times I feed my chicks, they're not growing. Seriously, I think I've given them more than 200 grains. -_-
Talk to the guy in West Aldi with the swamp ship and make sure to have a knob.

Anybody knows where to find that key to the door in the nuclear mine?
Go to the trolls' village. Just outside of the village is a troll that will invite you in and go to the mayor and do their quest. You'll find the key.
I just downloaded Casia and it looks to be a nice game ... good intro ... i installed the fonts correctly - but the arrow keys are wonky ... not in the whole game - just moving around. They work fine in the menu system.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: working now - musta been my SYSTEM that was wonky!

Hi. I can not launch the game.exe - I get following "RGSS player has stopped working".

That's usually a DLL issue, open the game.ini file and see what DLL it refers to, and make sure you've got it.

Also check here as this may cover your issue

Thanks for quick answer! Indeed Windows DEP was my issue. I just turned it in "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only" and all is fine now. Thanks nhubi!
I just wanted to report about insufficient size of text box both in windowed and full screen mode. Sometimes the last letter is not visible.
Thank you for pointing that out, I will reduce the font size in the next update, which will solve the issue.
This is very enjoyable, I love it when there's tons of places to explore and things to do. I clocked 30h and I think I've recruited almost everyone and finished most quests and stuff. I'll be heading to the final boss now but my inner completionist wouldn't let me leave anything undone so I have to aks quite a few questions. They are indeed a lot so I hope you don't mind. (yes/no should be fine for most)

-Where is the earth elemental?
-Is there a mithril spear?
-Are there only 2 dateable guys?
-If I save jana is thomas and the witch gone for good?
-In garlic island there's a fat man who won't let me pass, a man who couldn't find garlic, a locked house and a path in the next screen that goes nowhere. Are they all red herrings?
-The ice cave to puru village seems to have another side. Can you get there?
-In the fire elemental's cave there's a pool of water and Casia says she could carry it if she had something. Is it important?
-Is there anything else to do at the icy drifts in puru other than get those few chests?
-Can the locked door in the count's castle be opened? Same for the big one in hero city. Or is the latter connected to the siege? (I'm guessing it didn't happen in my game because I spared tapio)
-In the canyons close to the high village stairs is some kind of fortress I think but when I make it to the end Casia says it's locked and turns around. Is this connected to the siege as well?
-Not a question but the chicks never grew although I fed them a ton of grains. Also when I returned the 9th frog it told me I had returned 1 and now the quest can't be completed.
-The earth elemental is in the small forest south from Toro city, by the pillar
-There should be, but I don't remember where it is
-No
-There are basically no side-quests on Garlic island
-Yes, but you need luck to reach it
-I don't remember what its relevance is. It could be I simply forgot to remove it from a cancelled plot point or something like that
-No
-Some of the doors are merely decorative or remnants of events I removed from the game
-See above
-People have reported that the chicken raising is not working properly. I'll look into it. The frog quest should be possible to complete though, in a recent test run it worked fine. I'll check it though.
Ok, then I'll look a bit more for the spear and that cave. As for the frogs I don't have an earlier save to check but it was counting properly until the eighth one and then it suddenly said one instead of nine. Oh and was that "no" meant for the dateable guys or tomas&witch? Thanks for the prompt answer btw and the game itself of course; I had a lot of fun!
Sorry, I missed the one about the dateable guys. There are only two of them.
Got it, no problem. One more thing though, I feel like an idiot but I can't solve the leaflets riddle in the graveyard.
I have downloaded the Casia 5.1 version but I'm still unable to see the Hunger/Thirst meter lol is there any other way to view it instead? Maybe in the Status Menu?
The answer to the leaflet riddle is 432.

There is no hunger/thirst meter per se, but rather it's indicated by states that are added when a character becomes too hungry or thirsty. So you can see it as a state in the menu and battle. Hunger and thirst are added first, then dehydration and starvation if nothing is done about it. That is how the script deals with the system. If a character is dehydrated or starving, the screen starts flashing in red, so you will get a warning of sortrs before your characters begin to die.

The smartest thing to do with this is to simply eat whenever you are visiting a new village.

Oh, thank you for telling me and I love your game btw, been playing it like mad lately. In my opinion, its the best open-world game I played (Compared to Infinite series) but that's just me, I don't know haha. I only wish there would be more islands (or a floating island?). I've been sailing near the borders of the map to find more harbors to land to haha.

Thanks again.
