Magic is a curse. A plague upon the world and those that live in it. Those that are born with this curse unwittingly sap the mana from the earth they stand in. In order to prevent these abominations from draining away the world's lifeblood, they are locked away in a castle in an isolated dimension. It is in this castle that the cursed are to remain, removed from society so that their magic does not harm normal people. They are to be kept here for the rest of their miserable lives.
At least, that's the way it should have been...
Suddenly, a loud crash is heard. A young girl, kept apart from the rest of the castle, looks up from the ground. The magical barrier that prevented her escape slowly dissipates. Standing up, she pushes open the gate and finds her first taste of freedom. Guide her as she teams up with a renegade mage boy to search for the truth behind the castle, her unique magic, and a way to escape.

- A twist on traditional turn-based combat via MP charging.

I just finished the game with the third ending. Made me wonder though:
How can I find Melchior back? Where is he??

I finally got ending 1 Fulfillment. Didnt have a the option to save but it was easy enough at the end. I dl the updated the Deluxe...is what I did part of that? I cant tell if its the Deluxe or not.

Both the Deluxe version and the Contest version have the same endings.

Ok thanks. Since the Deluxe has another dungeon and in the one I played everything seemed to be the SAME dungeon all the way through to the ending....I dont know if the new dungeon is actually just an addon to what was ther....like a new level . Anuway a good game and I enjoyed playing it.

Congratulations you guys on not only winning the 10 G’s but also getting the special front page featured treatment as well. Honestly, I don’t think I ever even heard of this game until just right now. (Shows how much I’ve been paying attention around here lately.) Anyways, I’ll have to give this game a go sometime in the future and see why this was touted so highly and did so well. Once again, good job, you guys; I didn't even know that you had it in ya. :)
I just finished this game and got all of the endings, and I really liked it! All of it, from the story to the combat system, and it really deserved the prize that this game got at the IGMC.

Keep an eye out for Luxaren Allure and Wyrm Warriors. Also, I seem to recall Soul Sunder being completed within the last week or so. Those are good places to start as any!
Congratulations to you developers! I don't know if you're splitting the prize evenly, but $3,333 is pretty good for one month's work. It'd be great if this kind of contest could happen every month... maybe make a living.
