Okay, but enough being cryptic. Alyssa is a short rpg game starring some girl who calls herself Alyssa. Others call her Alyssa too. It seems to be her name. You play Alyssa as she struggles through a bizarre birthday, completing puzzles and defeating demons with only your wits and hidden talents to help you. But as that cryptic summary suggested, there is more to this seemingly normal survival horror rpg than meets the eye. Alyssa is part survival horror, part rpg battle, and mostly a mystery. If you want to find the truth then you'll need to look hard, collect clues, and unlock the "real" ending of Alyssa.

CloseAfter getting through the "made up maze" and to the basement looking area where the parents are moved to, the game gets stuck. The conversation with the two characters proceeds as normal, but as soon as it ends you're stuck. The game won't respond to any keys and you can't move.

I think you've got a very good talent for writing and story-telling. :) In fact, it was fairly easy to read and understand even for me and quite interesting experience to progress to. I like the cute, encouraging protagonist of the game.
Hope that the remastered edition will be successful! ...And, I also hope that the terrifying power of love will somehow be added on the game! :D

I'm very happy to see that this game is still in progress. The original game had some really good ideas, so it's nice to see that this game will expand on that (hopefully) to an extent where we'll be able to understand it more.

I've been trying to find a way to save in this game for 3 months. I gave up because I was wondering if I was either stupid or I didn't think to ask. BUT, now I can, is there a way to possibly save?

any case i finished the game,there were no endings i liked so i did not like the game overall
the mapping,music,artwork,plot concept,puzzles ect were great tho
highly recommended to people who like depressing things

After that had a conversation with william, exit the place and into parents bedroom and trying to go back to the kicthen and voila, the statue is blocking my way again asking for the picture of love only this time, I cant do that anymore.

I've been following this game for awhile now, and have gotten all of the endings that weren't bugged on the original file. I played the endings file today. Endings number three and four surprised me. Like a lot. Especially number four. And for some reason I found myself sympathizing with "???".That manipulative bastard.
Good game though, despite the bugs. I'm looking forward to the remastered edition! ^_^

Yeah, there is an annoying freeze-glitch. It's not just you guys, and there is no fix ATM.
For the endings, I use like 3-4 save files for one game and save at key points. Or just restart for each ending.
There are several heal/save points. Outside the place where you get the gallery key is a free one if you want.

Got to the part where you're given 3 answers to reply to the demon with.
After the small cutscene, I couldn't move or even open the menu up.
Overall, great game. I really like it. I was pretty mad when I found out I could no longer avoid ending 2 just because of that one mistake, though >.>;
Another note - having demons in the save area was pretty annoying. I recommend putting the save point in the hallway, instead. And the area where the demon teleports you to - I'd suggest having a set move route for those.. things.
