Plot Overview

In the world of Linguardia, the nations of Rikalia and Dorent are the reigning powers. Although both leaders have been at peace for centuries, a dark cloud is on the horizon. King Richard, leader of the Rikalian Empire, has recently lost his wife and daughter to a pack of demons. Now, his mind twisted from grief, Richard is on a quest for domination. His plan: to harness the power of the six legendary crystals, which, according to scriptures, will bestow the wielder with unimaginable powers if brought together. With Richard on a path of destruction to collect the crystals, war seems inevitable.

Players take control of Epoch Lander, Captain of Richard's Dragon Knights, an elite force within the Rikalian Empire. However, when Epoch begins questioning the morals behind Richard's actions, he is arrested for treason and sentenced to death. With his head full of unanswered questions, Epoch must decide whether to accept his fate or fight for what he believes to be the greater good: even if it means fighting alone.

Soundtrack Complete!

Jose has just finished the last two songs of the soundtrack, bringing the OST to a grand total of 36 songs. With those final two, the Forever's End soundtrack is now complete! I really have to thank Jose for all the hard work he put into these songs. They all sound fantastic, and I can't wait to release the next episode with them implemented. Great job, bro!

Do know though, there are a few songs that will be included with the game that aren't custom. Not many, but a few, mainly because some of my cutscenes were already built around these songs. However, all of the ones included on this gamepage are the custom ones composed by Jose.

With the soundtrack complete, I thought I'd list out a few of my personal favorites. If you have any favorites, please comment and show Jose some love.

Traveling - Overworld Theme

The Reprieve

Dangerous Wilderness

The Death Knight - Marcellus' Theme

Spiritualization

Yeah, honestly there are quite a few works that use the same name. Off the top of my head, I know there's that band, an upcoming movie, and another really old RPG Maker game with the same name (made on RPG Maker 1 for the PS).

That really isn't a 'famous' band even if the bio says it is. It's one of those generic "We think we sound better than other bands, and thus make a cool bio stating we are much more famous and renown than we really are, SO LISTEN TO US PLAY CRAPPY MUSIKS!!" bands that are out there.

I'd not worry about Copyright issues from those idiots.
This game is really good! The battle system. The character skills the upgrade system for your swdtech! The story has me wonderin at every conor! Good job guys really good job! Wonderin if u have a walkthourgh? Iam stuck at the part when ur in the snow lvl with the old magican an u have to rotate the statues i cant quiet figure it out! Good puzzles
Oh that puzzle? Hmm..I can't quite remember it, but it mostly tells you which direction the statues should be facing in the text on the wall. I know I remember one facing a curtain though..I could be wrong. :o
I have recently been trying to play more RPGs (as I am trying to develop one), and I am really liking your game so far. I just changed POV to the three people heading into the ruins. Can anyone tell me approximately how long this game is, or at least how far I am? Just curious.

Also, is there any place we can learn about the development of this game? A blog or something?

Hey dtw,

You've got about four or five hours left, I'd say. Overall, Episode 1 usually takes people between 15-20 hours to finish. As for the development of the game, this is the main site where I post updates. I haven't posted a whole lot recently (aside from the new custom soundtrack), but rest assured, I'm still working away on it. I'll have something new to show everyone here soon.
Why do all main characters have to be bishonen pretty boy's, i'm just saying a guy that young isn't a captain.

Don't make fun of Goldo; Goldo is fucking gorgeous.
WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM IS IT BECAUSE HE ISN'T CLASSICALLY HANDSOME? YOU CAN'T BE GREEN AND BE BEAUTIFUL? ;n;
xD sorry, I pay my respects to the little green man(lol..yoda reference) but what about Seti? He's very..."classical" in a way. :D

Isn't silver hair a thing in the JRPG world? I'm pretty sure Seti has long white/silver hair. That should be enough to get him points with all the ladies. B)

You really can't say that. Also given this isn't a 'real' world thing, it really doesn't matter age.
I have played this game and loved it for the most part.
The one thing that I find truley fascinating is that everything about this game is as cliche as it gets down to it's core and yet it never feels old or overused.
It actually remind me of Assasin's Creed in a way this game is great to play in short bursts but not for extended period of time. What really gets me is how I enjoy it and the story even while realizing how amazingly cliche it truley is.. It's like you're trying perfect a equilibrium with this game and are well on the way.
I finished the game awhile back and loved it :) I liked both epoch and elise the most and I can't wait for the sequel
