Mp3's

In my game, I will be using a number of Mp3 instead of the regular Midi files. The reason is that although many Midi's do an excellent job recreating classic songs, I still find that sometimes only the original song can really do a scene justice. I do understand that Mp3's take considerably more space than a Midi file, and I do not plan for every song in the game to be Mp3. However, I want the music to help immerse players in the story. An important plot scene can have great dialogue and character animations, but still turn to crap because the music wasn't powerful enough.
