Hey, I wrote something that I don't want to post as an actual review because this isn't well written enough or long enough, it's just a stream of consciousness thing. Here we go.

The Sandman must enter dreams to gain 4 nightmare faeries. These are stolen from a group of varietous people camping out in the middle of a forest. One contains a weird gameboy-like forest with a puzzle that I couldn't completely make sense of. Another contained a precision minigame of picking up some plates that was challenging but rather limited.
The graphical style is awesome. Great prerendered backgrounds, some nice sprites and especially in the gameboy world there is great visual style. A computer hacker who has lost his way. There's some nice environments. All of a sudden, battles? Weird. Very very nice lighting effects, but the battles are rather rudimentary. You can fight using an initial first attack, and then one which can heal you as well, but that's about it. The encounters run up to you but don't attack you. They should be placed to "Event Touch", not "Player Touch".
A spell restores all MP but reduces MAX HP. Why would I even use that? Pretty terrible skill. Got killed by bad robot. It would have been nice to have a custom game over screen, considering how much else was custom in this game. I wonder why F12 is disabled?
B@12 is very hard. I have to load an old save to do things properly this time for some reason. I don't like that you can be too weak to defeat him, but it's an extremely linear game with a set amount of encounters and still the odds are stacked against you. Doesn't make much sense. It's also basically spam attack to win. I've been killed by B@12 5 times. When will this cease? I could only kill him because there was a glitch where you can pull the blue lever but instead I went down and interacted with the monster before it emerged from the shadows, killing it several times to train myself up a lot before facing the boss. It worked, though. A lot of to-and-fro-ing with these levers. Seemed like a bit of waste of time at the end of the day. Even though these environments are extremely pretty.
A store manager who just wants to be left alone to his business. This one is just a bunch of binary riddles, though they can easily be solved with trial and error.
This is all very breezy to play, though. I still want to finish it. It is annoying though when the "innocent/guilty" judgement comes up but you're too busy pressing space bar.
The ending was interesting. I felt like it could have made more sense in the generality of the game, but I think it's still an interesting aside game to put your time into. It's not that long, but it's good for how much time and effort was put into it.

And that's about it. Hope this feedback is useful to you in some way or another. I would like to see what you came up with if you had more time and had planned more. I think you definitely excel in the visual and polishing department. Looking forward to seeing if you can follow this up with a great game ;)
