Alright, first things first, remove all plugged in controllers. Sometimes they will mess with RPG Maker games, since they can be used to play them, so if a controller is left plugged in and a button is pressed down it can lead to the game reading that as you pressing that button.

If you press F1 you should get an option menu pop up that allows you to change your button inputs. Use that to assign keys for movement and interaction. By default it's usually confirm = enter/z/space and cancel = ESC, numpad 0, x. Hopefully that might help a bit.

I don't own any controllers that works with my computer. Also, You can't change what each of the buttons do. You might be thinking of the steam version on that one...

I just opened the game & everything seems to be fine now. I guess I just needed to shut off my computer or something...

This is an awesome game! I'm shocked that RPG maker games are still so obscure, even after all of these amazing games! I suggest playing this game blind as it will be the best experience, and I love the atmosphere! We need more games like this!

PS. Niko is adorable.
Hi- I'm having an issue where the X button isn't responding in the game. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game, but it still isn't working.

It won't let me open the menu or delete things in the typing sections, which obviously makes the game impossible to play.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone knows how to fix this- Oneshot is one of my favourite games and I kind of need to get it working again because I'm writing about it for my university pre arrival task.

Both of those statements are wrong.
The original game has so much charm. Unfortunately, the ending isn't as impactful, as it just sorta ends with no real buildup.
I'm really enjoying this game with its unique atmosphere. Good work!
someone help me? i really want to play but when i go to open the game it appears: "Please use the RPG_RT.exe provided woth the Oneshot download" Can someone help me tidy up?

Are you running it in EasyRPG? If so then you cant play OneShot with it.
A game that i can only describe as, an emotional rollercoaster
Glad to see the game being promoted on PS4 today.
