(review of demo 1.1) First off this game looks great and secondly it is an old school RPG, but not like the old Zelda games. The battles are done in battle screens which seem very tedious. Link will always win, it will just take 5 minutes out of your life. They are virtually all the same and the minor battles need more diversity or simply to be quicker.

Link seems to be immune to Earth spells if not enemy attacks. in general.

The puzzles are a main draw to this game, there are Zelda-ish puzzles. Push rocks, hit hidden switches, light candles once you find the lanterns and earn keys. It is strange that there are no key doors, but there are key blocks blocking the doors.

Advice: Shorten and diversify minor battles. Other than that, keep doing what you are doing and this game will be great. If this were not Zelda, the rooms would feel empty by RPG standards, put some more decorative blocks in there.

Thanks for the review! ^_^

To answer some questions, the monsters were done poorly because I rushed them for my deadline to release the demo. I was behind schedule, so it was my fault and it will be corrected in the full game.

Link is immune to earth spells because one of the features is that each member of the party is gifted with one of the four elements; Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind. Link is gifted with the power of earth, so think of it like Pokemon. Earth attacks don't affect him, and he can do more damage to Water-type enemies, and he also weak against fire.

As far as the key blocks go, I was just having issues with the chipset I was using and I said "screw it, the key blocks will do".

Hope that answers any questions, and I'm tankful for your advice. =)
