Gameplay: Plays a lot like a traditional RPG with a few gimmicks here and there. (Boss fights are simple mini games alongside battles) and the unique combo system in battle letting you select 4 actions from 5 moves to execute special/finishing moves learned throughout the game.

Storyline:
It all starts with a Woman named Melissa setting out on a mission to eliminate the "Forever Shadow" a curse placed on her kingdom which is known as Balthera. Balthera has this "curse" because of it's once power hungry ways with it's old corrupt Emperor. Now Balthera is under a new ruler who wishes to cleanse the land of the Forever Shadow and start over new. Melissa is a widely known heroine in Balthera and steps up to the plate to approach the Goddess of Shadow who controls the Forever Shadow and put a stop to them once and for all.

Meanwhile, a young technician of a Space Police Force named Chris, is driving on an empty Space Highway toward his work, where he designs Solar Weapons. He is worrying about every passing minute as he is over an hour late. When he arrives to work his boss (Zam) hands him a letter from Chris's best friend wanting to meet in the land of Balthera, to talk about a fight they had and settle it there. Burning with excitement, Chris finally gets his first "mission" outside of the Police Force Base and visit a new place.

However, while all this is going on, Melissa is captured by the Goddess of Shadow and being used as an energy slave to control the most monstrous of Shadow Creatures, she uses a Colossal monster known as Titentious, to destroy the bridge along the Space Highway connecting it to Balthera with Chris on it. Chris is sent crash landing into a nearby forest in Balthera known as Xezi Forest and his Solar Powered Sports Car better known as the "Vintage Racer" crash lands into a Seal of Light that protects Balthera from the Forever Shadow. The Goddess of Light explains to Chris that he is forbidden to leave Balthera until he fixes the Seal of Light. Little does Chris know, this mission went from a simple one to one that will change his laid back lifestyle and put his knowledge of Solar Weaponry to the test.
