Synopsis:
The Oculus is a piece of technology discovered on Mars, granting mankind the ability to quickly travel through space and time. Using this, the Human Systems Alliance (HSA) has spread throughout the galaxy, colonizing new worlds and when necessary, abandoning dying ones. That was three centuries ago. Now, we share the vast reaches of our galaxy with our neighbors, the Varanasi. Driven by an internal desire to discover what else is out there, Earth has called for volunteers to undertake a risky mission, one that will take you far from home.

Key features:
- Free episodic content with an episode being released every other month, and with 5 episodes in total being planned.
- Explore the galaxy and land on planets with varying climates. Visit remote listening outposts, underground laboratories, and even venture out into deep space where law enforcing agencies have no presence.
- An engaging, fully interactive story.
- A colorful cast of characters with personalities ranging from charming, to quirky, to crass.
- Music tracks ranging from uplifting, to retro, to melancholy.
- Humor.

Visit the Characters page for a list of protagonists. Antagonists coming soon.

Enemy Encounters

Hey RMN,

I wanted to talk a little about enemy encounters within Oculus. More so than my other attempts at making games, enemy encounters within Oculus will mostly be scripted encounters. This means that grinding won't be necessary at all. In fact, very little grinding is even in the game, because not-story related dungeons don't respawn. Once they're cleared, they're cleared forever. The same goes, obviously, for story-central enemy encounters. Once they're defeated and their loot dropped, that's it. You'll never seen them again. Also, there aren't any random encounters.

That's pretty much it. Short and simple.

Drachen out.

Thanks for subscribing, Hudyman. I'll definitely check your game out.
I love the idea of an episodic RPG. Are you currently looking for music for the game. This sounds like something I'd like to be a part off
