And though Fole have no territorial claims in modern times, Agmi is their voice in political forums, pushing for a peaceful co-existence with the ruling Regime.

ARBUS

Arbus is the chief of the city of Cruces in the nation of Nor. He is pretty much a pawn of the Regime, dismissing the idea that his city is segregated and consistently cowering down to the advice of local Gray soldiers, even though his city is set in the heart of Fole country.

BERNIE

Bernie is the town chief of Gren, a town in southern Illian nation. He is the youngest of the continent's chiefs, and is often criticized for his youth. BOBELLE

DRIGDRUVERE

Drigdruvere is a Gray-appointed medician who was hand-picked to lead the task of curing the Sickness. Since his placement into the medics in the town of Gren, the villagers have been weary of his presence and have begun to question his techniques.

DUFUTA

Dufuta is the mysterious being whose existence has been questioned by a large portion of the population. He is rumored to be sympathetic to the Fole, hostile, and living somewhere underground beneath a petrified tree known as the Tree of Grief.

DUNN

Father Dunn is the Gray bishop who lives within the confines of Capital Gray. He is a well-respected man whose admirers suggest he stands in the good graces of the gracious god Makarai. He has been a major influence on both former emperor Supheus and the current Regime leader, Lassian.

ELTUN

Eltun is the town chief of Pesserak. His town's historic bad luck and tribulations make Eltun a bit of skeptic. His greatest attribute is his willingness to work well with his town's citizens, using their knowledge on questions he may not have the answer to himself.

GETTIUS

Gettius is a dwarf from Pesserak. He is a crafty, but often frightened man. Gettius is also a man who lives with a lot of regret and guilt. He is an empathetic man that has good instincts when it comes to people and discerning whether or not they can be trusted.

GORKOFF

Gorkoff is the town chief of Dirden. He runs the town's mining industry well and though his town is cut off from the main part of the continent, he tries with great zeal to bring people to the Dirden-side of the mountains. He is a devoted husband, and father to an adult daughter named Shora.

GWYNN

Gwynn is tasked with running the small, bleak village of Bosaly. He is mostly pre-occupied with himself and has a passion for rare artifacts. Gwynn is known as a host of large parties for wealthy people, often at the peril of the people he is supposed to serve.

IXESPERUS

Ixesperus is the princess of the Southland. She is the daughter of the late king, Kruff, and the reigning queen, Vina. Ixesperus is an emotional young lady who doesn't deal well with grief. In many ways, the privileged life at the Palace of Van has made her quite contemptuous. She is rumored to have made journeys outside the Palace walls in recent years, though no one is quite sure where she is going during these outings.

LASSIAN

Lassian is the current emperor, having risen to power following the death of Supheus. During the Revolution, Lassian was instrumental in bringing victory to the Gray. His push through Fole country is legendary and his tracking of Fole generals relentless. He was a close friend to Supheus and his highest ranking militant, however, his transition to his former friend's throne has not been easy. In troubled times, Lassian instinctively turns to using military power.

MAY

May is the funny-speaking fortune teller from Gren. She claims to have the power to speak with the dead, a rumor only some of the town tend to believe. Either way, she is light-hearted and seemingly happy, despite her haunting nature and allegedly-dark abilities.

MOYZIUN

Moyziun is an eccentric mage from the Fole city of Cruces. There, he runs a school which teaches magical abilities to the youth. Though Moyziun is of Gray descent, he is a just man, who is sympathetic to the issues regarding all races. He has a great skill in both spell-casting and alchemy.

MUDG

Mudg is a boy from the western side of Cruces. He was seen by his instructor, Moyziun, to be a protege, having displayed great skills at a very young age. However, the recent conflicts of the city have left Mudg without the guidance and restraint he will need as he grows.

NERU

Neru was a famous Gray adventurer, who was raised by his grandmother in Gren. Neru learned from her early on how to weave, and thus used the ability to weave carpets. In his teen years, he discovered how carpets could be enchanted and created many prototypes, starting a continental trend. However, even though his enchanted carpet idea became a large-scale business world-wide, rumors insist his personal carpet was the most magical and powerful of them all. Seated upon it, he is said to have visited all the seventeen nations.

RETHRICK

Rethrick is perhaps the world's most righteous man. It is believed he can speak directly to the god, Makarai. Rethrick keeps away from the world, only venturing out of his room behind Moti Falls when he needs supplies and food. This secluded life ensures that he is not corrupted by the evil of the people outside.

SOLOMUN

Solomun is the town chief of Koza, a secluded town on the western shore of the continent. Solomun is a widower and has a teenage daughter named Andrea. The similarities between his situation and that of Gorkoff, make the two chiefs close friends. Solomun is a peaceful man, but struggles to keep the village from going asunder, because of the sparse resources in the area.

SUPHEUS

Supheus was the Regime's first emperor. Prior to the Revolution, he was a young statesman, having a long-studied background in the continent's history and the evolution of its societies. Supheus, and his democratic political views, sometimes referred to as Supheism, are beloved by nearly all of the continent's population. His ability to cross racial lines to restore order and peace following the Revolution was truly historic, and his subsequent death perhaps the world's greatest loss.
