An ancient prophecy of the Digital World says that a destined child will be able to find the legendary Lost Symbols and release an immeasurable power. Knowing this, The Master devises a plan to bring the chosen one to the Digital World, take ownership of the power and use it to expand his control beyond the Braveheart Server.

In the real world, rumors fly all over the internet about a mysterious website with the words "The gate to the Digital World will be opened" which attracts the attention of thousands of children, especially our hero and his friends. However, no one imagined that the site's words were telling the truth. With this, more than four thousand children are abducted from Earth, leaving to the Master the task to identify the destined child.

As the chosen one, our hero has the mission to find the Lost Symbols and use their power to stop the Master's plans and bring all children back to the real world. He then embarks on a great adventure, becoming friends with Digimon that will help him to locate the symbols and bring peace to the Digital World once again.

Braveheart Server
All of the action is set here. A Server in the Digital World is equivalent to a country in the real world, with the difference that it's impossible to go from a Server to another by normal means. Braveheart is a medieval-looking Server inspired in the MMORPGs. The Master wants the symbols to break down the walls between Servers and control the whole Digital World.

We're not dead

Hello, everyone!
First, I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you that sent me messages of support and prayed for my recovery. My treatment took much longer than I expected, but I managed to complete it after 3 long years. Also, I apologize for not being active on any of the game's communities during that time, causing many people to believe I had abandoned the project.

Second, I'd like to announce that this game is going to be continued. Yes, tell everyone that Digimon World Ace is back! However, the game is going without me. Right now, I need to focus on my rehabilitation and catch up with everything I missed during my seclusion. For this reason, someone else will take the lead from now on, and I couldn't leave this project in better hands than my dear friend and teammate BlackMage. Not only he's a great level-designer, scripter and story-writer, he's also a much more experient game developer and that's why I'm sure he'll do an amazing job. Any questions should now be addressed directly to him.

I humbly ask you, our fans who are reading this, to continue supporting Digimon World Ace in any ways you can. Spread the word, let more people know that it exists. This game was born to be a love-letter to all Digimon fans out there, so you can be sure that good things will be coming from it.

I'd like to finish my last post as the former leader with a phrase that helped me go through my treatment: when everything seems over, don't lose heart. Just convince yourself it's a new beginning. I hope that message will help you in your time of need.

Thank you for everything and don't stop believing this game!

digimons not my thing,i used to be into pokemon but retired
regardless this does touch upon one of the things id like to see more of in the RpgM community
anime based games

just thinking of some of the series id LOVE to see games made for with this engine :D
this aint for me but gl! im sure people will enjoy this if done well
i like the graphics or the general look of the game, very cool use of the "server" concept. the sprites were also amazing!i surprised myself on how much of their names i still remembered.

now off to the good stuff...
seriously, do you know how hard it is to decode a chest if you dont know what letter-case they're in?

first chest was
digimon

but it was absolutely frustrating how hard it was to get the case right (gave up somewhere between 20 or 25th try)

oh and also its scary how easy it was to be trapped in the sewers...
seriously, i had to stretch my luck when i found out i had zero restore and still a long way from the surface!

EDIT: oh, and i think the last battle needs a bit of a fix... maybe make hawkmon just defend BEFORE he evolves?

I'm having trouble in the sewers as well. I came across the ice ogremon brother and got served up on a platter. Battling a champion level digimon with a rookie usually doesn't end well.
Great game,
I would love to play the rest of the game, but
the fight with thje ogre brothers,
seems a bit unfair and luck based>
Thanks!!
Thank you all for the comments and feedback!
We'll do rebalancing and change many things for the final release.
I donwloaded the demo a while back, but i first took the time to play it today.
anyway I really liked it and I cant wait for the full game now! :D
I did spent some time in the sewers training my Digimon so I could get pass the Ogre Brothers and The chest with the code was a bit annoying but in the end I figured it out.
Keep up the good work! :D
Thank you very much, Bonne95!

And this is for all players/fans/subscribers:
Sorry for not updating since the Demo release. We're moving slowly but we'll get there! We've made several improvements since then and I think I'll be able to share some new pictures soon. Keep on watching! ;)

I see you everywhere on this cite Lol
Haven't had this much fun since I watched the firs two series!! I wanna say this is the first digimon fan game I've ever played that I truly enjoyed! The battle system is smooth and tactical, the enemies are unpredictable and your TES is very clever the way the enemies are hidden until you come into range 8D Also love the characters you've made as well as the version of the digital World being on a server. Was something I was expecting the series to do eventually but they never did. Have to say one thing I do get irritated at the system but I wouldn't change is that last boss battle before the demo ends. It's almost freakin' random chance whether Hawkmon will do something stupid and jeopardize your rescue attempts. I get that AI control makes it more challenging but also scream worthy XD Do like how you have to defeat the Orge Brothers in a specefi order or new boss behavior will kick in and take you for a ride! X3 All in all? I really, really hope you make the next part of the demo so I can kick their butts and get on with seeing more of this charming and very well written story!

Wow, thank you a lot for this little review and tips, Fisherson!
Regarding the Ogre Brothers' battle, many people complained about that, since it's mainly luck-based in the demo. But don't worry. It was adjusted and will be much better in the next release.
And if you like the first part of the story, you'll love the rest of it. There are great things planned. Just wait and you'll see! ;)
This game is truly, Epic! I have no words for this fan-game... At first I wondered if it would be worth the download now I am regretting ever thinking that. Waiting for part 2 of the demo... I have so many expectations for the story! I'm also so glad that you, Didn't make it to complicated. Really. I hope you don't stop.

Thank you very much, Shinozaki! We'll continue working hard on it non-stop :D
Hi, downloaded it and played, incredible setting and graphics, hope you could at least reveal relative time in which this will be completed!?
And another thing , do you intend on making a sequel?
BTW will there be other available digimon like blackagumon, like a replacement for monodramon in case anybody wants to playthrough with them?

Thank you, and don't you think it's too early to talk about a sequel?! The game is not even half completed yet :X
So, I can't guarantee anything for now, as well as any completion date.

The game features 5 playable Digimon and BlackAgumon is not among them.

XD Well I didn't give you any tips but praise? Yeaaah! Do you know how long I have been waiting for a Digimon Fan Game that didn't disappoint or make me want to re-write it? The only thing that would have made it better is if it had been GInjinka or Digimorph-like, but nobody even writes good fan fics like that many more. XD I shall eagerly await and see. I'll even advertise for ya in my DA journal and Charas Account if you make it just as good or better in the next demo installment. ^_-
game is awesome, good luck in finishing it soon

Thank you Fanatik007. I hope we can finish it as soon as possible :)
To back what Yvy has said, we've made a few adjustments here and there, even to the gameplay, and it's much better. Can't give anything away but I think you all will be blown away with the changes we've made. The code chest is different too. Can't say how though.

I've been thinking about asking Yvy to post another demo, but not sure if we should.

Our main goal is to keep our fans happy as well. If you want to see another demo, let us know below, and we'll begin discussing when we might release our next. May not be right away, but we will discuss it.

Thanks for playing.
