I've finally completed this little game and I must say I'm pretty happy with how it is right now. Enough where I've decided to call this version 1.0 and release it as a completed game. However, there are still a few things I would like to expand upon, so I'll be releasing another patch in the near future. There's no longer just an introduction. Enjoy and please comment with feedback!
Estimated game length: 10 to 30 minutes, with two endings.
First of all, I'd just like to thank - again - those that reviewed this little game so far. I've agreed with most of their opinions and they've helped me, oddly enough, find motivation to put more effort into this game. You can expect another release within the next half week. Also, if you have downloaded the current version, I would love to hear your thoughts. There aren't many changes from 0.9 to 0.9.1 but there are a few things. Even if your opinions are super negative, lay them on me.
A new version of Candice has been uploaded. Changelog: - New maps.
- New story elements.
- Added a save feature in the house.
- Improved/tweaked the dialogue.
- New in-game markers to replace the sparkles.
- Custom music.
- Miscellaneous fixes.
Note: The game is still pretty short, but I would recommend downloading and trying this version, especially if you're a subscriber and/or reviewer.
An update for Candice is coming that expands the story and actually creates some puzzles for the game beyond finding this item to do that action. Look forward to it releasing within the next month. That should give me enough time.
For the past few days I've been working on another project, but after I release an update for that game, I plan to shift a small amount of focus onto this one. I'll be creating new maps, expanding the story, introducing a new character, and acquiring better music. If anyone feels like something could be changed and/or improved upon, just let me know.
So this is a short adventure game I made with a friend. She sort of just watched and commented occasionally. I didn't plan on uploading it anywhere to be honest, but I guess it doesn't hurt. It's not very long and it's pretty basic, but who knows, I might add more one day. Enjoy!
