I've never played a game of yours before. I'll be sure to tell you how it goes.

Do fill me in when you're done; it's pretty short.
Holy shit, completely forgot to update you on this. Sorry about that.

The furthest I got before being distracted by some other games was the second boss, the cave bear thing in the Dwarf Fortress. I couldn't get a good strategy going for the battle, since it seemed to largely rely on getting lucky and avoiding being berserked. I'm not sure what I'm intended to do during the fight, but I haven't made any recent attempts on it because like I said- I've been distracted by other games.

I really dig the atmosphere and level design though, I think it's miles above most other RM games that I've played. You hit the nail on the head with the classic RM sensibilities and actually built a setting that well, feels like it exists in some way. The only other RM game I can say that about is Quest for Innocence.

The mapping is beautiful, of course, since you're so good with the 2k/3 RTP package. Probably the best out there at using it to be honest.

As a final note, while the battles aren't anything spectacular they work well enough, especially since you aren't relying on touch encounters or random encounters. 2k just handles better than 2k3 so it's actually playable, which is pretty nice.
