Memories of Elefee is an Adventure Rpg that I started in High school. I never really planned on posting it anywhere originally, but I just decided to take a leap. With the help of one of my friends, this game just keeps progressing and it's something I'm really happy with. It's not finished yet, But I'm getting there.

Story

Risa is a lonely girl who seems to be no better than a ghost, going unnoticed by everyone. She tends to retreat into her fantasies of being a part of a fantasy world. In her dreams she is loved and admired by all. The only problem is that someone keeps coming into her dreams and ruining everything.

One day, she wakes up and finds herself in a castle where everyone believes she's the princess. Risa thinks it's all a dream and goes along with it, enjoying the attention she never got when she was awake. Her enjoyment ends when though when she realizes that she's not dreaming AND THAT EVERYONE THINKS SHE'S THE PRINCESS!
After the king arranges a marriage for her with a prince from another country, her "childhood friend", Seyi, warns her of an incoming threat that SHE told him about, though she has no memory of doing so.

Risa runs away from the castle on an adventure to find out what the heck is going on!

Oh no...

I have just been informed that there be Jellies about. And no not the cute slimes, but these girls:

If they're just standing around, as tempting as it may be, DON'T talk to them, they could potentially break your game. I'm going to get a patch out ASAP, but if people have broken their save files, you can send them to me and I can fix them.

Safe Jellies are animated, hidden, or this girl who gives you free things. Don't be fooled by their innocent faces.

I've been playing again and I have some bug reports, or whatever they are:

-Spirit's blessing says Holy blessing when it's being unleashed... I don't know if that's right, but it's nice to know.
-There's at least two little girls that are "little boys" in post-vampire Granyer. Their sprites are of little girls, but the text says they're little boys.
-If you enter the forest after killing the vampire, Neccia will not accompany you out of battles, she'll still fight the battles you fight, but won't be following you on the world map, or on towns. To fix that, get to the end of the forest following her and exit(this was more of a warning to players).
-If after you kill the vampire, you go to the castle, enter the part with the bridge and exit, you will end up in port town. It's really weird.
...That's it, I hope I helped.

Risa should be able to cure those, there is also an item that cures it, but at the moment, i dont remember if u have access to it yet...
I was WRONG about Risa! Don't listen to me, I don't know what I'm talking about apparently. orz
Could you try to get a way to cure blindness because I am having so much trouble with the vampire and bats. DX Oh well. Back to more training with monster to hopefully evade their attacks more often to prevent blindness. Pretty much my only strategy so far.

I apologize for everything about battling since it's such a quick fix/ already fixed. I'm trying to get the update up as soon as I can.

I double posted again.

Well, so, on another topic, what exactly is yours and your partner's role on the development of the game? By guessing, I'd say you drawn and your part programs. What an awesome team you make!
I actually do just about everything, she's busy more times than not, but she contributes a lot of ideas to the game and helps me with story progression. She also playtests, corrects my mistake and drew the title screen for me. She's also working on an animated battler for the update that will come out eventually.

Ok, thanks for the info!

...sniff...
I'm sorry for all the bad things I've said about the grinding in your game... I thought it was not paying off well... sniff... until I started playing "A very long rope to the top of the sky".
I'm just, so sorry. I never knew grinding could be so exausting in a game, and I tought yours was tiring, but it's not even a fraction of AVLRTTTOTS.
I apologize for my troubles... except for the super saiyan slimes. You agree with me on that one.

Subbed, though I'm going to have a hard time restraining myself from just playing what's available now. Must resist!
Must endure to completion date!
...no, I'm pretty sure she does NOT equip bows.
I'm serious. I bought a bow, then I tried to equip it to her, and it didn't have that option. And I don't think it has anything to do with the battler(which I assume its the sprites when fighting). It just doesn't work.
Also, since you're being so nice, can you also add tanks, dinosaurs, flying squirrel battles, custom characters and horror first person shooter parts?
...
Kidding. I'm just kidding.
Or am I?
No, really.

I have a question.
What are the bows for? Is there a secret character or something in the demo?
Who would use them?
Risa can equip them if you want to focus on attack rather than magic.
Thanks!
By the way, I don't want to bother, but how's the work coming along? Is everything progressing?
If the work's getting tiring, don't give up! It would be a shame to see such an awesome project go to waste!

Yeah, I'm still working on it. I've fixed all the bugs that people have mentioned and added a few other things. I'm really waiting on my partner to finish on her things before updating.

I have an suggestion.
For a game with 3 endings, it really would be a time saver if you could skip cutscenes, like the starting one and jump in the part where you're free to wander around.
What do you think?

I have skip cutscenes for playtesting, but I guess I could put it in for the demo as well if necessary.

...heeey, super me again.
I found a bug.
Equipping Risa with bows just doesn't work. Well, she doesn't equips them.
Maybe it's something on my game or I don't know, but I think you might want to check it out.

The battler for Risa won't change even when you equip her with a different weapon.

Did anyone else freeze when princess exited the throne room and talked to trainer for the first time? Trainer just kept walking to the left and princess couldn't move.
Could you double-check the events you step on to leave the throne room?- because I tried it again from the side and it worked.
Either that or my computer glitched it out.
You can forget the previous comment, I got over it.
