Memories of Elefee is an Adventure Rpg that I started in High school. I never really planned on posting it anywhere originally, but I just decided to take a leap. With the help of one of my friends, this game just keeps progressing and it's something I'm really happy with. It's not finished yet, But I'm getting there.

Story

Risa is a lonely girl who seems to be no better than a ghost, going unnoticed by everyone. She tends to retreat into her fantasies of being a part of a fantasy world. In her dreams she is loved and admired by all. The only problem is that someone keeps coming into her dreams and ruining everything.

One day, she wakes up and finds herself in a castle where everyone believes she's the princess. Risa thinks it's all a dream and goes along with it, enjoying the attention she never got when she was awake. Her enjoyment ends when though when she realizes that she's not dreaming AND THAT EVERYONE THINKS SHE'S THE PRINCESS!
After the king arranges a marriage for her with a prince from another country, her "childhood friend", Seyi, warns her of an incoming threat that SHE told him about, though she has no memory of doing so.

Risa runs away from the castle on an adventure to find out what the heck is going on!

Oh no...

I have just been informed that there be Jellies about. And no not the cute slimes, but these girls:

If they're just standing around, as tempting as it may be, DON'T talk to them, they could potentially break your game. I'm going to get a patch out ASAP, but if people have broken their save files, you can send them to me and I can fix them.

Safe Jellies are animated, hidden, or this girl who gives you free things. Don't be fooled by their innocent faces.

Ok, I added him. And honestly, that battle ends if the vampires is defeated, so you can just do what I do and bum rush her. Even if you're a bit under leveled, it usually works.
Oh wow, didn't know all I had to do to win that fight was only defeat the vampire. And thank you so much, I'll download the newest version right now and transfer my save to it!
Ok, I don't know if its just me or the game is a bit buggy, but some scenes I cannot get past. I'm trying to get into the south village (after you and Soul spend the night camping) and it just sticks to the "now loading" screen for like 10 minutes

That's weird, i swear I fixed that. I'm not getting any errors on my side though. Are you sure you have the most recent version of the game?
Wow, really nice to see this game had a update!
Hope you can get things going well for it, it's a very unique and interesting game!
Okay. So I'm playing the demo now, and there's something I really have to say.
You may need to watch out for your writing.
Words stitched together when they shouldn't, your and you're put in wrong places(I'm not even American/English, but I see this is the most common mistake people do), and the lack of commas, which makes the text tiring and artificial. You don't really see the emotions of the characters clearly because they don't speak clearly, they don't speak how people actually do. And this kills all emotion there is in a dialogue.
Maybe you should get a writer for you or something like that? I don't want to be a grammar policeman here, but it really breaks the magic when you see yourself correcting the text all the time.
A sincere and constructive criticism.

Yeah, I'm very much aware of the problem and try to fix it when I notice it but there's just so much dialogue. I've fixed quite a bit of it, but there's still so many mistake and I haven't really looked for someone to help me with it.
That's great.
I hope you can find time to search for someone to help, and find someone.
This is a amazing game, with incredible art(loved the new sprites and even the backgrounds, those were amazing), likeable characters, and interesting story.
This game has everything going for it, and I hope you can fix those issues, so we can *feel the magic* it has to offer.

Thank you very much. I'll try to do what I can.
Do you have a big word doc with all the game's dialogue written in it? That's generally the best way to do it, as you can review and have peer-reviewed your work at any time, and insertion into the game is just a simple matter of cut/paste.
If you do have one, fire it my way and I'll clean it up.

Not at all. I come up with most of the dialogue on the spot and change it as needed. I know, it's bad. It's probably where most of my spelling and grammar mistakes stem from actually...
Well, start putting one together now. You'll thank me later x)
Hey, I have another question, it's not about the game itself, but it may make the gameplay a little more enjoyable for me.
For some reason, the framerate is really weird, and once in a while the game just stops loading and crashes.
This is the first RPG Maker MV game I play, and apparently you no longer need the RTP to play these games, so I downloaded the game without downloading the RTP.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or should do?

No, you're not doing anything wrong. It's definitely me.
Which parts of the game are you having problems on? I can see if I can fix them.
Well. It's entirety.
I'm not really sure how it would help you fix it, but the game crashes frequently, and that usually happens whenever I do something. Walking around never causes a crash, but reading text boxes (like in a dialogue, one example is the one where they meet the shapeshifter and fight her being trapped, the dialogue is going nicely, and then, all of the sudden, the game stops, doesn't load the next text box(sometimes it even does the sound the text does, but doesn't appear), waits a little bit, then it crashes), entering new towns or rooms, and (I'm not 100% sure) entering the in-game menu may cause it to crash too.
This usually happens after I've played the game for some time, 30 minutes or more.
It seems it's not something that happens on a single place, it seems like something that happens under a condition, like the 30 minute mark.
The part about the frames being a little weird is something I think you can do by yourself. Go to any place, the castle, for example, and when run with shift on, then, go to any room transition, where you get from one room to the other(just go to another room, preferably, vertically, north to south). Instead of stopping when you reach the end of the room and are going to the next one, keep running. If it happens there, you'll see that you basically "teleported" to where you would be if there was no transition animation between rooms and you simply kept running. Got it? It's a little weird.
I don't really know how I can help like this, but I'm glad to try.
I got something.
It seems to be a "type error"?
When it crashes, it usually closes the game before I can do anything, but this time, I simply entered a battle and the game had a error.
It said:
"Type Error
Cannot read property 'width' of undefined"
Does it help at something?
This looks really charming! Subbed.
An excellent game, with a rich scenario, I finished in 8 hours: I can wait for the remaining 25%! A hard game too, needing a lot of grinding to buy the best gears and replenishing items. Fortunately, some monsters in the forest areas gave more XP and jellys than slimes! Some glitches encountered:
- shops don't propose all weapons and armor pieces the characters could use at their experience level. For instance, footgears are not in sale and magic water cannot be bought; Neccia can equip a buckler, but none can be bought if you sold the buckler you did no longer need.
- the equipment characteristics are not identical for the different characters: Risa has no slot for offhand, nor Neccia for cloak (though cloaks she could nod equip improve her protection in the shop menu)
- rewards for the silk and whisps sidequests can not be paid since the shopkeeper does not acknowledge their achievement.
Congratulations for the good work!

Thank you, and actually there is more than 25% left. That percentage was actually just for the next EXPLORABLE area.
As for the shops, I purposely made it so that certain characters couldn't equip certain items and magic water can be found. I'll add more magic water in the next update probably.
The shop showing that they could equip them was actually a glitch though, I've fixed it on my own but it won't be out until the next update.
I'll also check into the sidequests for wisps and silk.
Very curious, but what kind of tablet do you use to draw all the art and graphics?
