Are you playing The Book of True Will, but you find yourself struggling with a specific puzzle? Worry not, this page is here to help you!

Beware of potential spoilers in case you haven't gotten to the respective puzzles yet.

Puzzle 1:
"Orientation"

Mainly a test of reflexes to get you started. As such, there is no real "solution".

Tips:

Here's a helpful little trick: Pay attention to the dragon's wing on the right side of the image. Its borders are easy to distinguish and can serve as a point of orientation. As soon as the borders on the outer rotating ring are in line with the rest of the picture, hit that Enter button.

Puzzle 2:
"Stepping Stones"

Step on one tile to change its state and that of the tiles around it. Sounds familiar? Well, this puzzle has a little twist: While touching a tile will change the state of the adjacent ones, the tile that was stepped on itself will not change.

Tips:

Here's a general tip that should make solving this puzzle much easier: Try to "move" the empty tiles together into one corner. By doing so, it will become much easier to see which tiles you must step on to get them all activated.
Another hint: If you need to reach a tile in the center of the field, but don't want to step on other tiles that would mess everything up again... do it anyway. You can always move the same way back and undo any previous changes except for the one tile you wanted to touch.

Still having trouble? Well then, here are the solutions. (Of course, many other solutions are also possible.)
Let's start by giving each tile its own number:

Now, these are the tiles you have to touch for every one of the four "stages":

Stage 1:
Tile 1
Tile 4
Tile 8
Tile 13

Stage 2:
Tile 8
Tile 7
Tile 11
Tile 12
Tile 15
Tile 5
Tile 13
Tile 14

Stage 3:
Tile 14
Tile 12
Tile 11
Tile 12
Tile 8
Tile 4

Stage 4:
Tile 5
Tile 9
Tile 10
Tile 14
Tile 14 (again)
Tile 12
Tile 8

Puzzle 3:
"Lockpicking"

A more challenging puzzle where you have to simultaneously move two picklocks to the right spots at once. The positions of the picklocks relative to each other can be changed by using the obstacles in the level layout, since even if one picklock can't make a move, the other one still might.
You can reset any level by pressing the Escape button.

Tips:

If you find yourself struggling, try to find that one position one of the picklocks needs to be in so you can move the other one around to a spot that's just as many tiles away from its own button as the first lockpick. Also, remember to keep in mind which obstacles can do what for you and where. Having only one picklock change its position by a single tile can make a huge difference already, so you better look for the obstacles that can make it happen.

Still no success? Here, have the solutions for each lock.

Puzzle 4:
"Range of Influence"

This is a tricky one. Instructing an ever-moving fiery being to evade obstacles and reach a torch at the end of a tunnel doesn't sound too hard - but what happens when the tunnel goes dark after a few seconds?

Tips:

The best tip is of course to try and remember a path the fiery being needs to follow, and when to move it in which direction in order to do so. A good strategy to make this easier is to look at other objects that stay visible (for example obstacles in the other tunnel, or the door) and remember where the fiery being has to be when these objects move into or out of sight. Also, try to get a feeling for how fast the being moves so it becomes easier to estimate how long you have to wait between pressing buttons.

No luck? In that case, you can use these pictures of the complete tunnels to help you.

Puzzle 5:
"Different Languages"

A logic puzzle consisting of two parts: Decoding the writings on the wall first, then using the hint they provide to spell out the solution. Each symbol stands for one letter of the alphabet, although only 13 out of the 26 existing letters are present.

Tips:

The group provides you with some useful knowledge that helps you find out what each rune symbol represents, and can be reread any time by interacting with the writings on the wall. It's a good idea to start with the words on the left side, since you already know or can guess many of their letters. Also, it might help you to know the words on the wall actually form a short sentence - but it is read from the left to the right. So after the upper left word comes the upper right word, and only then the lower left word.

If you're still hurting for another clue, here is one to make it easier:
Do you see the fourth letter of the upper right word? The one that resembles an "N"? It actually stands for the letter "G".

Still too difficult? See here for the translations of each word.

Upper left word:
The

Upper right word:
Dragon

Lower left word:
Protects

Lower right word:
All

Now to spell out the word the sentence hints at. It's one word only, not more.

Here's a hint:
The sentence refers to a specific name.

Drawing a blank? This is the word you need to spell out:
Platos

Puzzle 6:
"Reflection"

My personal favourite. Upon pressing the lever, a sphere of light will emerge from the crystal ball and start moving. If it hits one of the characters, the sphere will split in two in a right angle on the tile of front of them, and the two halves will move on independently. This can happen multiple times. Position your characters carefully to split and redirect the spheres onto the large crystals and activate them all at once.
You can switch between characters by pressing the Shift button.

Tips:

Always keep in mind that the spheres do not split on the tile of the character they hit itself - they split right in front of them. Some stages also have small, sharp crystals on the floor that the characters can't walk over - but the shperes can pass through them unharmed.
Don't be afraid to experiment. If it doesn't work from one side, try the other.
Also try to find out how to position the characters in such a way that they can get hit by spheres more than once, and from more than one direction. With the right setup, this is possible.
Plus, don't forget that you always need one character to press the lever. This means you actually have only three characters available for the actual reflecting. Or... maybe that's not true?

Too confusing still? See here for the right setup for each stage. (Some stages have more than one possible solution.)

Puzzle 7:
"Finding a Path"

The path over the illusionary chasm appears and disappears again. You only have a short amount of time to cross, so make every step count.

Tips:

Even when the path has disappeared visually, it is still there. You can keep walking despite being unable to see the path. So try to move as quickly as you can every time it becomes visible, and memorize as many of the next steps as possible once it starts to fade again.
You'll need to be quick to make it in time. But be careful and don't hurry too much, as one wrong step will send you back to the beginning of the path. Especially if you're close to the end and have some time left, waiting for the path to reappear might be the better strategy.

Fallen down one too many times? See these images for the complete visible paths.

Puzzle 8:
"Rays of Fire"

You didn't think it was going to be that easy, right?

I can't help you much here. Just one tip: Staying mostly in the centre of the room will give you more time to react - but at some point, this strategy might stop being helpful...

Thank you for playing! Good luck and enjoy!
