This game was created for the M.O.G. event "My Own Game - Creation" in which you had to use the materials produced for two other M.O.G. events in order to create a game.

With the limits in place, To Look Through Her Eyes was born. It's a game about a young woman named Lanessa, who questions both the relationship with her best friend, and her state of existence. You see, Lanessa can not move far from where she stands. There's an entire world in front of her that can be seen, but not tread upon.

A soldier in an army who controls the land, Celine, tries to make time every morning to visit our main character, not realizing their meeting place is the only place Lanessa knows.

During the journey we'll figure out:
♦ Why Lanessa is confined to the small space, even though no walls can be seen.
♦ How to combat lingering feelings such as Doubt, Sorrow, and Dependence when left alone.
♦ The dynamic relationship between two women who lean on one another.
♦ Whether or not Lanessa or Celine exist.
♦ The power of the mind.

Stay tuned, friends.

You're magical to me.
This looks awesome! I'll be keeping an eye out :D
Awww, you used my graphics. I'm touched. ^^
Of course, your stuff was the best of the bunch environmentally; really got the creative juices flowing.
Liberté, égalité, fraternité
See whilst I really like the concept of this, I always find practicality rearing its ugly head, yes yes I know, games are neither realistic or practical, but I find myself asking questions like what does she eat or drink, how did she learn to speak, where did she get the clothes on her back, where does she sleep? I know it's much too early to be pondering the practicalities as the game isn't even out in a demo form yet, but this sort of thing just circles 'round and 'round inside my head until I get an answer.

So basically, when will that be?
This game is all about oddities of reality, although strangely enough I wasn't thinking about what she'll eat or drink, but based on the story itself (something I'm obviously not going to give away while it's still in dev stage) I can easily fit that in since there are huge gaps in Lanessa's days.

That doesn't answer the "how" of course, but your questions will make sense the further the story unfolds. I'll give the least damning one away for free though:
Lanessa sleeps on the hard ground, yet wakes up each time with perfect hair.

I'm not sure whether or not I'll release a demo, but by the halfway point the questions you have are easier to answer, so by then I might showcase a demo even though the entire game is probably only going to be a little over an hour long.

Either way the completed game should be finished by the 15th-16th; I'm glad you're asking these questions nhubi, because it brings up something I hadn't thought about, while bringing a few more questions I'll want to address in-game.
Liberté, égalité, fraternité
I'm glad I could prod you a little, and that will in turn lead to a more fleshed characterisation. I adore the concept that she wakes with perfect hair even after a night on the ground, that just works for me on some level.

I understand most of the questions I posed go back to the basic nature of the game and what it is you are trying to tell, or at least allude to, but thank you for taking the time to respond, and I do look forward to the version that will, if not answer my questions, then enable me to form my own hypothesis.
