Evil Dawns MV Available!

Why can't I leave this game alone?
No, it's not my first game I started on, but it is the first game I finished. In fact, the original game had taken me a month, or less, to make. Since then, I haven't actually done much work on it. But recently, just this year (2019), I've worked on nothing else, but this game. I have reworked all the maps and most everything, although, the story stays the same. You can check out the game pages at the following links. Note that I don't have a download as of yet, but you can always keep an eye on it. I expect it shall be out sometime later this month (September 2019).
So, why can't I leave this game alone? There is just something about finishing a game that feels very special. Perhaps not to you or most anyone else. But it is special nonetheless. I really love the story of this game, thus, I felt it important to give it a proper game, that is, I felt the need to make it as close to my original vision as I could do.

Anyway, here's all the links to where you can find it:

Evil Dawns MV??

Why yes. Even though at one point I said I wouldn't be remaking this game in MV, I just went on ahead and did just that. Though, with one minor detail. It's not actually a remake. It's pretty much exactly the same story and same... nearly everything else. It's just that MV is much better for me to make games in and I was able to get things working in the MV version that I couldn't get done in the VX Ace version. Eventually, I may just get rid of this one or I might not. Either way, Evil Dawns MV is going to be out pretty soon and should be working much better than it has before. Thank you for playing the game. And good day :)

EDIT
One last thing. I won't be doing any more updates to this version of Evil Dawns, though that may be a bit obvious, and will, in fact, be moving all further development to the Evil Dawns MV page. Once that has been approved I will then be able to tell what I am currently doing for the MV version of the game. Can't wait for everyone to see how it has changed :D

Final Release! 6.6

I have worked hard and the new (and very much improved) Final Version is out. It is at version 6.6

I will not be adding anything else to the game. As you probably guessed, by the "Final Release" part. I will update it, if there are any bug fixes needed, which there will probably e a few... since I am the only tester.

I hope you all enjoy the latest version! :)

New Version: Beta 6.0

I am working on a new version as I type this, I need some break. So I have added a few things my friend suggested to me. Instead of enemies attacking you when the light is on, they will now attack you when it is off. This will finally make getting the small bottles of lantern oil more useful. This will also add a bit more difficulty with trying to conserve your lantern, but at the same time, enemies will attack you with the light off. The light is also assigned to a button for easier use instead of having to always go to the menu to turn it on or off. The button is "F".
I have also added custom routes for enemies so they don't just roam around randomly. Even I found this to be quite annoying and have fixed that. Now, not all enemies will have a custom route, but when there are a lot in a certain map, like, the hallways, attic and some of the ones outside will, as will the ones in the library. Since part of the ranking is not killing enemkies, if they back you into a wall with their "random" movement, that would not be fair at all. Which has happened to me quite a bit. I am also hoping to find a script that has better A.I so you don't get stuck in a corner and don't have enough time to turn your light off.
I have also brought in two different difficulties and took out the "wise-ase" phrases. There will be Action Difficulty and Puzzle Difficulty. Much like Silent Hill 2 and 3. I am still adding the different modes in game for the puzzle difficulty. I have finally fixed the "New Game+" Aspect and now you can do the whole, "I finished the game four times now!" cheer.
Well, I can't think of anything else in that I have done for this update. If you guys have any requests, that would make the game better or less buggy, let me know.

Errors?

My game will be fully released later today , to download and play. I have had no testers, except myself and as of now, I haven't been able to even get halfway through the game without finding game breaking errors. I hope to be fully done testing the game in an hour. I put the game as complete though, since it is essentially complete. Sorry for the delay. Also, when it is released. I would like any errors that you, the player, see in my game, posted in this blog. That way I can be more organized and get too it quicker. :)
